The other one is to freakin long and the titles annoying.

How bout (Weed is not physically addictive)?

I was addicted to weed, actually any drug but weed was the cleanest safest easiest thing to get.  Always tried to get it even when I didn't have any money. I'm clean now.  Haven't smoked weed in a long time and it was easy to stop, I just kept on doing any other drug I could find.  Doesn't mean I don't wana get fucked up still.  Got addicted to cough syrup, not anymore addictive than weed.  Stoped that now too.  The lesson I learned: weeds not that bad, If your ok with getting fucked up every day than thats fine,  Just don't be doing worse things all the time like meth or heroin.  Unless you really wana get fucked up lol.

"Message to the other thread".  dats cute, You finally found a drug that you like so much that you got addicted and don't have the will to stop, Blame your addiction on the addictive nature of weed.  Jacking off is addictive, I can't stop jacking off< Wee needa ban jerking off, put on your cock guard!

I don't understand why anyone would give a shit if cannabis is addicting or not. It's not that bad for you and it's fun to smoke end of story.

The thing is, weed is easy to smoke often because of how benign it is. Many people smoke it often and smoke it habitually, which leads some to believe it's "addictive". Addiction is either physical, psychological or both(for most truly addictive drugs it's both). Weed is psychologically addictive, not physically addictive. Period.

This is a topic that I've been thinking about for a while now.

Personally, I puff everyday. Used to be 4-5 joints, now I'm back to 1 (sometimes 2). What I love about weed is that it's something that can be done on a more frequent basis. Right now, I couldn't see myself tripping every week or 2, not even every month. It's just too much. Too intense.

Marijuana is different. It's gentle, but still a good enough buzz. You can smoke everyday without having to worry about damaging your liver (like alcohol) and what not. That's what I think drives people to smoke it on a daily basis.

HOWEVER, I will admit that I get paranoid here and there, but I'm almost used to it now.

I tried a few times to keep it to, maybe, once or twice per week, but I haven't been lucky yet. The biggest problem is sleep. I hate the fact that if I don't smoke the whole day, I will lay in bed until 3-4, turning every few minutes...and that ain't funny, knowing I gotta be up by 6:30-7:00. So that's my biggest beef I have with NOT smoking it daily.

Peace and Love

I've only started smoking around the start of the year, but what I like about it is that it's incredibly easy to not smoke for a few days (or weeks) in a row, even after a few weeks of daily use.  I used to drink like a mad man, and I never considered it addictive because I had nothing to compare it too.  But now that I've experienced cannabis I can see how alcohol is indeed addictive.  I can also see how calling cannabis addictive trivializes substances that are actually addictive (that's one of my biggest annoyances with anti-marijuana arguments).

Cannabis is pretty benign and relaxing in moderation, although there have been a few times I wanted to see how high I could get, and bad shit happened.  Once, after smoking bowl after bowl and eating some in food, I got so paranoid I curled up under the kitchen table convinced the DEA was outside my house trying to take a picture of me smoking.  That wasn't so fun
:feelsweirdman:

Otherwise it's been a great, non-addictive high.

you're an idiot. I'm 18 and i'm pretty sure my opinion didn't take a drastic turn over my last birthday, or even too much in the past few years for that matter. stereotyping by age is pathetic. i know plenty of stupid adults as well, i don't think age is the factor here. there are many well spoken teens and children out there. being young doesn't make you irresponsible or unknowledgeable. i'm sure there are plenty kids who know more about life and have dealt with more shit than you have.

Thank you.  I know plenty of adults that were more idiotic than I was at 17, I think I was the least stupid at 15 or 16 actually.  Maybe people stereo type if they acted stupid as a teen and had to make a drastic change, and now they feel like a fuckin genius.  Not every ones the same.  We don't all have the same life.  I know some 9-10 year olds that are smart as hell. And some 37 year old thats a dumbass in most things and can't control his emotions.

They just be like; It was like this for me, I was a Retard when I was young, your a retard too cuz your young!  hahaha, your opinion is worthless to me, I'm superior!

My dealer dried up, so I've been out of weed for the past few days. After smoking for a year with little or no stopping, I'm definitely feeling it. Clammy hands, no hunger, insomnia, and other things. My body is definitely pissed off that I don't have any weed, but the worst part is just the bad day I've had today. It'd be easy to just chill out till I have more if I didn't have such a horrible, awful sleep session and afternoon/evening.

There's nothing like being really low and unable to get high.

I can see this happening when used to being in an altered state for so long.  I still don't think its physical withdraw.  At least your not gonna have a seizure and die.

Same thing happened to me.  Was treating my depression with weed, which worked for a while, but one day over the summer I ran out and couldn't get more.  Was so depressed that all I wanted to do was cry.  Nothing wrong with my hands and I could eat fine though.  Just so desperate to get high again.  I loved it to much.  Second time I quit after years of smoking, I actually was happy, Just got irritable easily.  Had to watch movies all day to keep my self happy.

I didn't sleep well (20 minutes of eye closed, maybe 5 minutes sleep, wake up and look at clock, repeat), my hands are clammy, I feel cold but sweaty, and I haven't eaten hardly anything since my last munchies (about 24 hours ago). I can't really help any of these symptoms though, especially not the food part. I eat 2 crackers and feel stuffed. These are definitely new things that come from lack of weed in my system.

Sorry you're having a bad time but it's psychosomatic. The only time I ever had weed "withdrawal symptoms" was when I was out and couldn't get any. Whenever I quit cold turkey after months of chronic use because I wanted to stop--no physical symptoms whatsoever.

Your body isn't pissed that you cut off the weed--it's only your mind making your body believe that.
