    #1416038 - 03/28/03 05:18 PM (21 years, 5 days ago)

would one pick mushrooms individually when the veil tears or should i wait for all veils to tear then pick them all. i had heard a while back that if you pick one and let the others grow they wont get any bigger and didnt know if it was true
thanks

I've got a bike. You can ride it if you like.
It's got a basket, a bell that rings and
Things to make it look good.
I'd give it to you if I could, but I borrowed it.

Each mushroom should be picked individually as the veil breaks. One exception is if several mushrooms are clumped together. In this case, pick them as a clump.

No, the other ones do not stop growing when one is picked. The other ones might actually grow more in fact as more nutrients are available to them, but the amount is mostly negligible. But if it's ready, get it, don't wait too long...
