Having a clean room.
#14159578 - 03/21/11 02:32 PM (12 years, 10 months ago) |
|
|
I just cleaned my messy room, and it
I organized my dresser, closet, and desk, made my bed and futon, threw away trash, vacuumed, dusted, and sprayed air refresher.
Do you guys like keeping your room neat? Mine had slowly gotten nasty over a few months, and now after cleaning it and feeling good about it, I'm going to keep it clean all the time.

My room isn't really messy as much as it is cluttered...there's books everywhere...soon as the weather gets a bit better i'll build another bookshelf i guess.

Haha,I'm sure everyone who cleans their room once and a while says this and doesn't follow through(myself included).
I mean it this time though!

Mine is usually fairly clean when I'm home most of the time.
If I have a few days where I'm not home very often it can get a bit cluttered due to me throwing stuff somewhere just before going out again, but it's generally pretty tidy. I don't have a designated space for jamming, so when I play or record music the cords and everything else can get a bit fucky.

Just cleaned the fuck out of my room, as it was way too messy and I'm kinda tweaked killing off the rest of this, "bath salt".
Got a lavender candle burning and getting in some of this nice, fresh spring air

Most of the things taking up space in my room are instruments/instrument accessories, besides the bed, dresser tv and chair.

Not just my room, I like to keep everything as clean as possible. Unfortunately I'm living with the filthiest people on the planet, so I end up spending 30-40 minutes a day cleaning and it's still a wreck.

A lot of times when I smoke a bowl at home, the messyness will bother me so much that'll I spend the entire time scrubbing everything down. I spent like two hours or so the other night just scrubbing the tile in the bathroom all because I wanted to take a shower while stoned.

that's the one thing i haven't done in ... years: dust.
i have a lot of little stuff that needs it, but it is VERY time consuming. i also need to pull the dressers out of my closet and move my bed and desk out of my room so i can shampoo the carpet. the bed hasn't been moved since it was put in there a good 12 years ago; there is a nuclear dust bunny army forming back there.

fuck yeah
I was living with some assholes for a while who'd always bitch about dishes, but they were NEVER my dishes
a quick rub with a soapy sponge takes care of almost any dish right off the bat, and a hot pan always cleans easier

I have an obsession with cleanliness when it comes to my possessions, and rearranging my room. I literally got stoned and walked around for an hour today visualizing how I would lay out the room. My girlfriend shouldn't leave me alone during the day, and I need to start my new job sooner... haha.

carpet is the floor, and when you tear it up you have to put new floor down unless you like living like youre in a recently built home.

Yeah, my entire house is wood and tile. The only downside is that sound really carries, and all the dust and other nastiness that ends up on the floor sticks to your feet when you walk around, even if you sweep ever day.

Looking like it's being used isn't bad, but having clothes all over the floor, trash on the desk, useless things on the dresser, etc isn't good IMO.

My room has seen better days. I try to keep it clean but it quickly becomes cluttered again within a few weeks. It's hard to have two people living in one room. There's no room elsewhere in the house for our shit so it all gets piled up in my room. I cannot wait to move out.
