mimosa hostilis bark as fungicide

this bark is used to treat wounds and burns because of its many properties including antifungal propierties...

Im about to germinate some peyote seeds but i dont want to use chemical fungicide... would the bark work???

can anyone suggest me something'?

that isn't going to work for extreme sterilization, as far as i know. or maybe it would :shrug:


but i don't think whatever is in mimosa hostilis is going to sterilize the soil or what not to the extent you are talking about. putting bark in the soil is going to start to decompose like anything else, therefore = more chance of fungus than before.


idk about an extract = who knows :shrug:

You've got spare tepezcohuite laying around? Thats cool.
Yeah I dont see why a mild M. hostilis stem bark tea wouldnt work. Many people use dilute cinnamon or chamomile teas and just recently I just shoved my sprayer nozzle into my days strawberry leaf and sage tea to save a bunch of baby plants from fungal attack, worked so well I'm using some in bread making as a preservative. Most anything with no sugars and astringent polyphenols that humans can drink should work, just dont overdo it.

nice im going to try it... I want my grow to be the most organic it can be... yeah over here there is a lot of tepescohuite, they even sell some powdered bark ready to use... thanx
