Spawning to BRF
    #14154920 - 03/20/11 05:10 PM (12 years, 10 months ago)

I had my process backwards and thought I was set.
Can't get Hpoo right now.
Anybody ever spawn to bulk using BRF & Verm & Gypsum?
I can get froozen Donkey Poo right now, but not field dried Hpoo.
Wouldn't Donkey Doo be the same as Hpoo?

Cakes are best done in a SGFC in my opinion.  But if you must spawn to bulk just get some coir.

You can't spawn to brf, but you can do bigger cakes if you know how.

donkey manure should work fine..as long as its field aged

or you could goto the pet store and buy a brick of coir for 3-5 bucks and add some verm, and gypsum to it

or if you just want to use verm search "rez-effect"

What I have are (2) 1 lb bags of rye that I knocked up about 3 weeks ago, that will be ready in about 3-5 days. I thought I had enough donkey Poo, but it turns out the bag was marked wrong. The ground is still frozen here so field dry anything is out of the question, but I do have access to frozen Donkey Poo that I could pasturize.
But, I also have a lot of BRF & WBSF. Could I spawn it to that.
I've been thinking of ways to spawn to BRF cakes, but not sure about that one.
I was thinking of putting the fully colonized rye berries into a tray and covering it with BRF & Verm & Gypsum or leaving it in the bags and adding the BRF, Verm & gypsum.

either used the frozen donkey manure, or just case the grains...but i would really go out and buy a brick or two of coir if i were you man,

you can mix coir and and what manure you do have together, add some verm and gypsum and be set..

Ok Doc T. Checked out the REZ-EFFECT & it looked like it may be a problem.
Maybe I'll just break the bags up & spawn to jars of grain.
I'm gonna need alot more jars.
But I can get them a few miles away compared to 45 miles to the nearest pet store.
Guess you can't ever have enough quart jars.
maybe I'll try a little on the rez-effect for shits & giggles.
But I think I'll allow to colonize B4 fruiting.

Make a GRAIN LC using agar's tek.

Use that to nocc BRF cakes.
A direct grain to BRF would contam before it completely colonized IMO.

Everytime Ive spawned to coir, my grow stalled. Well, almost everytime. I had good luck my first few times(which is why its linked in my sig), but lately it hasen't worked out for me...

I took it OP wanted/needed to use what he already had onhand.

Thanks Bateyes88, I think I'll try that one too, as I have the 2 bags.
As I got started I wanted to try new things as I went & now I have so many that I don't have time for a job boo hoo. I'm definitly gonna need more jars.

if ur worried bout using ur bags, u can get peat moss from walmart in ur area i assume and mix it with verm, and case your rye or just case it with straight verm,, U cannot cover/case ur rye with Any Flour WBSF or BRF I will not work!!  if u cant get Coir,, just use straight Verm as a casing and it will give u results@!
