Slow growing jars

So i've got 22 PF Tek jars colonizing right now. The first 2 weeks went great but now the mycelium has slowed down substantialy. I am fairly certain its not the moisture content of the substrate, and the strain is brazilian and from my research it is supposed to be a very fast colonizer. They are not in an incubater as my room temp. stays in the mid-high 70s. If anyone has some advice I would appreciate it.

Are the jars covered with foil or tape? If so remove both

Twelve jars have a layer of duct tape covering the entire lid, and the others only have small strips over the inoculation holes. No pics sorry doing all my surfing via cell phone.

I have figured thats what it is, but I have always used duct tape in previous grows with no ill effects or slowed growth. I guess i will go ahead and take it off but am very wary from losing a batch of jars same number due to a massive tricho contamination.

you HAVE to have gas exchange for them to grow, so I dont know how you had success in colonizing jars, with no holes for gas exchange, sealed with duct tape.. just go by the tek for your now, until you get the hang of it..
