Aloha from Hawaii

I've been here since Tuesday night, haven't logged on since then, today's my first chance. Havent really had the time to look around for wifi until now but I managed to find some in my condo, though the signal isn't very strong and I'm on my phone.
The weather here has been awesome, so beautiful. I've been to Waikiki beach everyday, and it's incredible. So much warmer than Vancouver. I never want to leave! My condo is on the 28th floor of a building in Waikiki, and the view is amazing. The city at night is pretty cool. But it's super windy here, especially on the rooftop pool.
Not looking forward to leaving in a few days
I'll probably attach pictures when I get home to my computer I decided against bringing it with me.
What's going on in the pub?
What's going on in the world I've been pretty shut off from news and just about everything. Too busy enjoying the beach!

Enjoy the beach, nothing but disasters everywhere it seems like. And sadly, that seem like the only way the world comes together.
Vancouver huh? not much is diff up here in the northwest, though sun is peaking through a little more often.

"We are all intoxicated. We were born into an insane asylum, a world crazy-making. We believe what we see and hear. The real myth is the myth of sanity, of rationality: it's a disease that is eating away at the earth. All the poisons flow from our denial. We deny madness, we forget our crimes, we dismember the corpse, we imprison our children. We need poison to poison the poison, to remember the sacred nature of intoxication, the green body of the young god." ~ Dale Pendell

Kirlian, do yourself a huge favor and hop the 20 minute plane ride to another island. If you go to Hawaii and don't see anything but Honolulu, you're not really seeing Hawaii.
The good thing about Honolulu is that it's really nice to look at the city lights from up on the hill late at night. If you're in walking distance of Waikiki, definitely walk up Sierra Drive at night. It's a road to the North of Waikiki that has some great views of the city. It's one of the only roads leading into the hills from Honolulu. My sister lives up at the top somewhere.

I wish had time to explore other islands. I'm sure I'll be back someday soon..I didn't have nearly enough time and I leave tomorrow I'm driving to the north side of the island today to explore a little..
One week is definitely not enough.

Yeah Hawaii is a place where you need a while to do some exploring, same with most places really.
I'm planning a trip this summer with a few friends and Hawaii is an option.

The Big Island has a blond zebra with blue eyes. Keep it in a pen on the side of the road near Kona, always saw it when I was hitching to the other side of the island.
