Thanks for that
I'll try to remember it during today's trip; I just put a tab of blotter under my tongue.

First of all, enjoy watching what? Did you mean to include a video?
Secondly, I have to disagree. So many people feel that they lack something for the very reason that they do. If you are completely happy with yourself the way you are, you'll never improve. You could argue that "improve" is subjective with some things, and it is with a few, but most aren't (a loveless life vs. one filled with people who love you, being lazy and unhealthy vs. being fit and in shape). While some just wallow in the misery caused by being unhappy with an incomplete life, it inspires a few others to do great things to fix it.

The "lack" is what keeps us motivated to survive. Without the feeling of deprivation what would keep us going? The problem is that when an intelligence realizes all this is an illusion. It's only temporary and everything we do is to negate our own discomfort.
Great point though and I agree with it. I mean lacking food, water and things like that are one thing. But feeling that you are incomplete without a new hairdo? Without that new car you aren't happy? Can't smile because you don't have a 52 inch plasma? It's all a veil created by the mind.

Yes, I've learned the same lesson.
Too bad I still can't stop wanting things, though.

I did not say things cannot get better Everything is always changing naturally While we try to make things better we should try to have the perspective that everything really is complete in a way all of the time It is impossible to comprehend totality but we all know, on some level, that everything is connected and whole and nothing could be any other way I just meant enjoy watching everything you see even though it is not easy meditation can help one with that it is easy to get too involved and linger in judgment

In my opinion there is a duality here...What can you miss? What can you lack? Since you are It.
It's true what you are saying, we are complete!
But...what if you are doing something wrong? How would you know that? What if, for example, you are eating the wrong food? That will be like putting gasoline to your diesel engine.
What if you are racist and you don't know it. What if all the animals that we enslave for our food, really feel like us, that they are the center of the universe and they can not communicate this to us because they speak a different language, and they can feel pain just like us?
What if we are destroying the Earth through our every day activity?
etc
On a evolutionary scale, our times is just blink, but time is eternal, and every day action is just as important as the whole thing. And in the same time nothing is important.
There is no true way, in the words of Alan Watts: "Reality is only a Rorschach ink-blot, you know"
You may choose to live an ignorant life and you will experience ecstasy or you may choose to live an awakened one and you will experience ecstasy so....You don't lack anything! Who ever you are.

I am very, very high/here and LOVED the first post! And overall great to feel how intelligent some people 'round here really are. It's the apex of those little mercurial daily perceptions whose realization is just behind the reach of conscious, toward which it builds - I could've been entirely here, building instead a greenhouse in the garden to plant vegetables and grow fish.
I know what I want but to get to it need the goings-on's help (lets say, from another), i.e., an ecstatic everyday is impaired living where social games most abound. You can't laugh in church! Haha! Day to day is much too mental (in a way I can't seem to describe, not necessarily thinking/linguistic-mental but in depth in the joint of reality with imagination). I writte very literally.

We ARE complete! You can't add anything to yourself, you can't take anything away. You are always who you are and always will be you. You are. I am. If you accept that you are absolute and everything happening at this moment can't be any other way and is how it should be, perfect, amazing things come from it. It's very hard to explain through text...
