This jar has been about 90-95% colonized for about a week now. I just noticed this lump growing in the jar today.

Hyphal knots turn into pins, I would still consider that a hyphal as there is no brown tip from the cap yet.

It's pinning. I would birth that cake when you get the chance. It doesn't have a cap yet, but it's still underdeveloped.

Looks like it may be a pin.
Give it time to fully colonize. And a week long consolidation period before birthing.
If it stalls, flip it over. Then, if it continues to stall, birth it, cut away any uncolonized sections, rinse, dunk, roll in verm, then place into FC or use as spawn.
Make sure it smells mushroomy before birthing the cake.

The mushroom is getting huge, i won't reach 100% colonization before the invitro mushroom reaches the top of my jar, much less make it though a week long consolidation period.

that jar looks fully colonized to me...the top verm layer isnt' going to colonize
as well the mushroom pinning is because of one of two things
1) the cake is fully colonized and is read 2) some type of bacteria or contam forcing the mycelium to fruit

If you birth it and get rid of any un-colonized sub, then well, it will be at 100%.

The bottom of the jar has yet to colonize. I only used 2 injection ports, so it went quite slow. these have been colonizing for a month.

Just started getting my perlite ready. I guess I will go ahead and shift to fruiting mode. Should I dunk it? I feel like rolling it would be a bad idea with the size of the pin on it.

Well, it doesn't look like my perlite is humidifying my SGFC. Its been 2 hours and I have no condensation on my walls.

dunk your cake.
its bruising; likely because its too dry and your humidity is too low.
do you mist enough? do you have a hygrometer?
condensation is not an indicator for rh!
condensation has to do with different temperatures inside and outside the fc.
if the temperature difference is big enough, there will also form condensation at 60% rh for example.

pick that big guy off there and eat him or dry him. he's done anyway, the veil broke. you need to dunk the cake in water for a good while and roll it in dry vermiculite. it will help the growing process much

Congrats at getting to fruit(s).
That cake will deliver more. Do the dunk.

I picked it and destemmed it for a print. Dunked the cake, along with 5 others I just birthed. I am concerned abou5 my humidity though. I may dunk my SGFC in the tub tomorrow. Any ideas how long?
