I don't really know what a hipster is, and I've never heard the term 'trendster'; I thought, by 'trendster', you meant someone who simply follows a trend.

Since relocating to Portland, I've actually encountered myriads of people on the streets who are quite receptive to new impressions. Countless times throughout the day, the curious twinkle in somebody's eyes is compelling enough to introduce myself. I love getting into wild philosophical conversations randomly on the streets, it somehow often feels easier than with the people I know well.
I grew up in a family that had a vested interest in obtaining a large disposable income, with parents who were willing to work themselves to death at the same job they had long grown bored of their minds with, fulfilling the same responsibilities week after week, and having the same single serving plans with friends out to dinner on Friday. I suspect a lot of the self conscious confusion you see is in people who lack any sense of spontaneity, because they're constantly in their heads coordinating their lives. They can barely make room in their lives for an insincere hello, let alone the stare of a man guessing at their being.
-------------------- Everything is better than it was the last time. I'm good. If we could look into each others hearts, and understand the unique challenges each of us faces, I think we would treat each other much more gently, with more love, patience, tolerance, and care. It takes a lot of courage to go out there and radiate your essence. I know you scared, you should ask us if we scared too. If you was there, and we just knew you cared too.

Having an affair is some of the only spontaneity that many married people allow themselves. I stated she was cheating cause that was most likely of all the things I could have guessed.

I see sadness in her as well as defensive suspicion, but at the same time there is strength present to persevere and hide the emotion she likely bottles.
Then again she might just be cheating on her husband. We'll never know.

Most of us are sad to some degree imo. That's a good guess.
