Spring 2011 Weilii? You tell me...

Found these below this morning in my normal fall weilii hunting grounds. I have never found them in the oft quoted "small spring fruiting season", so I am having some doubts as these are not farinaceous (sweet smell) and they are not bruising blue, yet, at least. Other than that they fit all descriptors, especially considering I have found white gilled weilii before, as these seem to be.
They are not Psathyrella Velutina as they have no hair.
Most of the image below are in situ, but 3 are images taken back at home. I am printing them now, but any comments are much appreciated, thanks.

Entoloma sp. has a much redder cap, these are silvery/tan with a darker border region near the end of the cap.

Entoloma is a huge genus with hundreds of species. They come in just about every colour.

I thought OP was referring to a species, not the Entoloma genus on the whole. My apologies

I find these every year at this time. Entolomas suck, from a distance they look exactly right. Once I get about 5 feet away I can tell by the vertical striations on the stem and they are typically twisting like in your pictures, The caps are also much too delicate and tear very easy. Good idea to be looking already tho, you never know with these early 80 degree temps can speed the ground temps up.

Its an Entoloma, one of that ones that we used to call Nolanea.
