How do these look? HELP PLEASE :)
    #14138215 - 03/17/11 05:53 PM (12 years, 10 months ago)

So I grew these like 6 months back, from Cambodian spores purchased thru Ralphs, and grown in a mycobag.  They look legit except they never grew very big (you can see in the pic I've used a dime for size comparison.)

A few questions:

-do you think they will be safe to eat?
-Do you think because they are so small they will ever be very potent or not potent whatsoever?

Please give opinions - I do want to eat them since I've had them sitting around for so long!

Thanks!
J

Ok to eat. Can't speak to dosage.

Also, your mushrooms need more air, more light and more gypsum.

You make it all possible. Doesn't it feel good?

Thanks for replying.  I actually started them in a mycobag, then after the myc was fully colonized and the cake started to fruit, I took out the cake and continued growing in a shotgun FC.  I kept a fluorescent light on 12 hrs on/ 12 hrs off, and fanned the chamber several times a day.. so there was enough light and air.  Never really figured out why the shrooms never grew big.  The stems were very long but skinny so they couldn't support the caps, which never grew very big anyway.
