Value of the dollar part of the War on Iraq?

Here is an interesting angle I haven't thought of...
http://www.ratical.org/ratville/CAH/RRiraqWar.html
Could the value of the dollar be a contributing factor for the war on Iraq? If more countries switch away from USD to the Euro for international trade, it would greatly devalue the dollar and cause lots of inflation. Interesting point, no?

Yes.
-------------------- To call humans 'rational beings' does injustice to the term, 'rational.' Humans are capable of rational thought, but it is not their essence. Humans are animals, beasts with complex brains. Humans, more often than not, utilize their cerebrum to rationalize what their primal instincts, their preconceived notions, and their emotional desires have presented as goals - humans are rationalizing beings.

No. It's "All Aboot Oil".

What one person receives without working for another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for that my dear friend is the beginning of the end of any nation. I've been an advocate of this theory for a while now. If Iraq hadn't switched their oil reserves to Euros, I wonder if there would be a war right now. I'll take bets that they will be back to dollars before 2004.
It is probably the most "offensive" move Iraq has made against America, depriving them of dollarized 'free' oil. Combined with the World Trade Center attacks, its clear that the Middle East is retaliating by waging war against American economic dominance. They can't defeat the military, but they might defeat military funding.
American hawks are eager to maintain control of puppet regimes, and strategic influence of Arab governments, so that major oil producing countries will stick with the dollar. It's all spelled out in "Project For A New American Century". A weak dollar may be the only thing that can return America to normality.
my two cents.
