Effects of Smoking Bud Daily?

I started smoking again a few months ago, always at a low amount. Once or twice a week I'd get totally baked out.
Lately as I've been buying my own bud, I've been smoking more and more, still not on a daily basis, but more than my usual 2 times a week.
I'm just wondering if people have noticed any effects from daily pot smoking? I think bud is quite benign in moderation, but is daily pushing it's harmless limits?

What the fuck man. You live in New York so you think weed is bad because of the drug laws. Here in California we think weed is good for you, has health benefits and etc.
THE ONLY REASON YOU THINK POT IS BAD IS BECAUSE THE DEA BRAINWASHED YOU. WAKE UP, WAKE UP, WAKE UP, WAKE UP.

It lowers lowers motivation in some people and fucks up with your energy (look up endocannabinoid system and what it does for you). But once u get used to it these things shouldn't bother u much.

The only real problems caused by regular or constant weed use is your weed works less, you eat more, your dreams become less vivid, you finish less conversations and lines of thought and generally spend a lot more time planning what you are going to do TOMORROW

Yeah. I would be smoking every day still if I had the money. I'm glad I quit. Also feel like blowing all my money on other drugs and partying instead of making sure I have enough weed for every day of the week smoking it alone at night . Weed has some kind of negative effect that not even harder drugs have in me. Still wouldn't mind have some good stuff. If I could control my habits and not smoke before school and shit.

I have been smoking everyday for 23 years, I have had 1 times a 3 week break and 1 times a 6 week break, both times just to check i wasnt really addicted and could put it down anytime i wanted.
Moderation is the key, everyday i do not smoke all day long, if i am working i only smoke after work, days off are generally a wake and bake situation unless i have a lot of official life shit to do that cant be done bong-eyed.
I am as far from the stereotype "pothead" as you can get as i am very active and have a great job, how else could i pay for all the smoke hahaha it is my desire to be able to afford a fat bag of top quality bud anytime i want that motivated me to get a good job and then to ensure i am good enough at that job to do it even if i was baked

Smoking every day doesn't seem to be harmful, but it certainly isn't for everyone.
I smoked every day for almost a year and then one day just decided to stop. At first, smoking every day was great. Then, it started to get repetitive and boring. Smoking too much made me think too hard about a lot of things (mainly living situation, social life, school, work) which started making me miserable. I was very depressed from about August to the beginning of January. I think smoking had something to do with it because of the kinds of thoughts it led me to have.
After I stopped smoking everyday (which was incredibly easy, I even stopped thinking about it altogether) and took a good 5-6 week break, I started doing a lot better. Mind you, other things in my life have changed since then as well which play a role in that too. Anyways, now I only smoke occasionally (twice a week at most, but usually once every other week) and I enjoy weed a lot more without thinking too much about the same old things.
I think it's important to keep in mind that weed is a psychedelic (albeit a very unique and generally milder one) and does have things to teach you. I know that my outlook on a lot of things changed drastically since I started smoking. Just like you need to integrate a mushroom or LSD trip, you need to find ways to work what you learn from smoking pot into your life (but I will admit that this might not be true for everyone). I think I came to a roadblock where there wasn't much I could do for a while, and continually smoking while I was stuck where I was (physically and in my mind) just made me miserable. I think it's easier to integrate things you learn while high after smoking cannabis because it generally is a milder and more gentle psychedelic, and often you just get small changes in perspective (but they do add up over time).
Actually, this reminds me of something I read with regards to perspective changes. If beer is a wheelchair, then weed is a bicycle, shrooms are a motorbike, and DMT is a rocket ship.
Anyways, try it if you want. You might like it, just as many people do, or you might find that it doesn't suit you (like I did). I don't have anything against people who smoke every day, but it's just not for me. Just make sure that you pay attention to your body and mind (as you should always be doing). As much as I hate to admit it, there might be some truth to the whole demotivation thing. Smoking weed messes with dopamine regulation (ever noticed that smoking small amount can act almost like a stimulant, and you'll be cleaning like a madman for two hours only to realize when the high starts to wear off that you've cleaned your bedroom, bathroom, and vacuumed all the carpets in the house?), so if you start feeling lazy or tired all the time, you should probably cut back.
One last thing: smoking every day is expensive! Even if you manage to keep your tolerance fairly low and only smoke small amounts throughout the day, you'll probably be going through at least a quarter a month. Personally, I found that the $60-70/mo. for that quarter so that I could smoke every day was too much, and I have been commended for keeping my intake so low. You get going through a half ounce every two or three weeks, and you're looking at a fairly big chunk of change to be throwing away at a plant.
