How to Awaken.
    #14135177 - 03/17/11 03:26 AM (12 years, 11 months ago)

This really isn't rocket science. There is no thought involved, only focus. Nothing to intellectualize, you only have to feel.

1. You clear your mind and relax your body and sit or stand with your spine straight.

The best way I have found to do this is breath in deeply and fast through your nose, then let it out as slowly as possible through your nose or mouth, whichever you feel most comfortable. Do this for roughly 5 - 10 minutes or however long it takes you to get relaxed.

2. Focus you attention to the lowest part of your spine. Focus there as long as it takes to feel something. Then keep focusing until you definitely feel something unmistakably, like a ball of energy.

3. Now move your focus to right below your navel, and keep focusing until your feel that ball of energy there. Focus more until it is definitely unmistakebly there.

4,5,6,7 Do the same thing fallowing the point up, until your reach point 7 of this chart.

If you don't make it all the way your 1st time, just start where you left off the next time.

Yes it's really that easy
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here are the safeties as recomended by p4ksoul.

There are safeties, however I didn't use any of them. Also I was not aware of any safeties during my time of awakening.

Here is a list of them from here:

http://www.kundaliniawakeningsystems1.com/the-safeties.html

Guidelines for a safe and joyous activation

If you are in process with Kundalini or intend to be please look through these and begin to practice them daily.

Please read the "Safeties" three times on three different occasions so that you can begin to see and feel how they help you find and understand these very qualities with in yourself that you seek. After reading them begin to practice them daily. Find the time sometime in your day or night or both.

As you do these your experiential knowledge base will expand. Please bring the "Locks" into your daily life.

TONGUE UP
This completes the cranial circuit allowing excess energy to bleed down the sides of the neck. Cultivate the position of the tip of the tongue resting on the fleshy mound right behind your upper front teeth. Make this a new habit.

EYES UP
This is the position of looking towards the brow of points, one and a half inches above the bridge of the nose. Most comfortable when the eyes are closed. This will draw or pull the Kundalini upwards.

FINGERS IN POSITION
This is the thumb tip and fore finger tips joined (pressed together) with the other fingers spread out wide. This is a finger lock.

WATER
As the Kundalini rises it will stimulate and activate the kidneys and the adrenal glands. The adrenals and the kidneys can become hot. Really hot and feel as if they are expanding. The adrenals will release amounts of adrenachrome, or the bodies version of speed. This can be very disconcerting, and can help you to fear. So plenty of living water i.e. water that is from a spring or another source that isn't chlorinated or from the tap of a city, but if the city water is what you've got - drink it. Also plenty of watermelon if you can get it as this can be very soothing for the kidneys.

PROGRAMMING  (tv, movies, books, music, friends, family, church)
In our culture we are seeing and reading and hearing, from various sources, many negative and fear evoking forms of entertainment, news and communications. This is not helpful when a person is newly activated with the Kundalini. Fear, excessive lust, hateful attitudes, can be quite painful and damaging to the new Kundalyn energies and many unfortunate events can be created by the Kundalini exposed to such energies. So, no scary movies, or books or radio shows unless you want to experience them in real-time with you as the unwitting star. Music that is angry or hateful or hurtful even if the melody is sweet need to be curtailed. Inter familial problems are sometimes hard to dismiss. Try as much as possible to bring love and peace and forgiveness into your daily and nightly life. I know this sounds difficult but just make it a priority and it will be extremely beneficial to you and your Kundalini, setting the best pattern for the energy to follow in its transformation of your life.

FOOD CHOICES
Pay attention to the new tastes and desires your body begins to have. If you have been a vegetarian and you start having an interest in beef. well, try to find some organic beef and eat it, love it and bless the animal that has given the ultimate gift for you. The Kundalini needs what is in that meat in order to advance your activation. It wants and needs that kind of protein, surrender to this. Or if the opposite is true you're a meat eater and the Kundalyn Energies wish for you to become vegetarian - don't hesitate! Find yourself a great organic market or farmers market and make like a rabbit! Really, you will be much happier I promise. This is only for a short time and then it may switch back as your activation progresses into an awakening. The Kundalini will let you know in no uncertain terms.

FORGIVENESS
Emotional blockages are a main cause of pain and instability within the Kundalini awakening process. Issues of grief, guilt, loss, abandonment and fear can and do manifest within the context of the Kundalini as pain. It is also an attachment for energies that feed off of these conditions. Resolving these difficulties after many years or a lifetime of experience is often difficult and seemingly impossible. First you need to develop the intent and then to follow that intention with action. However many years and in many cases lifetimes that a person has been wracked with pain and anguish there is and has been a way towards resolution. It's called forgiveness. Not always towards a perceived assailant or of another person but also for ones own self. Forgiveness is a Divine aspect of love.

RECAPITULATION
Realizing that we are all here on this physical plane to learn and to come into direct contact with others who have qualities different from our own, forgiveness gives us a platform for tolerance, another Divine aspect of love. In the context of the Kundalyn energies, this is a very important practice that must be done daily and with the most sincere and heartfelt expression. It lays the foundation for most if not all of the special gifts and skills that come with an awakening.

Recapitulate all peoples who have done harm to you. All people whom you have harmed. Think back upon your life experiences and for the moment pick out the highlights of hurts that have been inflicted upon you and by you. Now consciously forgive them and you. There may still be Karmic repercussions but this will go a long way towards ameliorating them. So practice this daily and new remembrances will come to mind getting in line for the forgiveness. This requires an honest acknowledgment of activity from both the receiving and of the inflicting aspects of our experiences with others. Honesty towards ones self is another ingredient that must be attained in order for this to work.

Regardless of where the blame is, forgiveness must be reached for and given. Not a small task to be sure but an essential one. As the forgiveness encounters the heavy vibrational construct of the emotional blockage, Divine love is seeped into the matrix causing, in many instances an emotional outburst of relief and release of burden. The blockage is relieved and the Kundalini continues its invigoration throughout the body.

For optimal results this must be done daily and constantly throughout your conscious periods. For example, someone cuts you off on the freeway forgive them as quickly as you condemn them. Do this immediately and it will begin to smooth your condemnations to the point where you will be happy to let them in and wish them well upon their way. Take this in stages and don't force too much upon yourself all at once but keep the intent strong and healthy in your heart and mind. This will have an almost immediate effect in your life passage as well as being an energetic snowplow for the Kundalini. As in most things practice makes it become second nature, so practice. This concept applies to all of your human interactions. Love and forgiveness are the rules.

INNER JOY
When you experience a situation in which you find yourself in very unfamiliar territory the first impulse is to go into fear. I want you to begin to cultivate a memory of when you have been joyous. Exuberantly joyous. I would have you practice this during the day when you experience something frightening. Immediately supplant this reaction with the inner joy, just the memory of it will change your perception and therefore the energy of the situation. Put a "post it" in your car on the dash if that's where these events happen for you or at work somewhere. Or on the refrigerator at home where you can remind yourself of this new reversal that you are incorporating. You can write "I.J." on it just as a reminder. This is to begin a new form of acceptance of different mind states that will help you on the Kundalini path.
TRUST
Trust the process that is happening to you. Know and understand that God is watching everything. Spirit is watching everything. You are safe in the arms of the Divinity as long as you practice the love and forgiveness that are part of what we teach. If you stray into areas of negativity, willfully, and with malice afore thought, well, then that is what you will receive. In real time. So trust the Kundalini. It has your best interests as part of its agenda or you would not have been allowed to activate or even to have known about this.

HONESTY
As you feel the energy work its way within you be honest with yourself about what is happening. Watch out for denial. If you start falling into denial you can miss information the Kundalini is trying to impart to you so be aware of how you are honestly feeling. Watch yourself closely without becoming obsessed. When you feel sensations of a presence or object traveling inside your spine do not chalk it up to a sore back or that last tennis match or the tight clothing. Unless of course it is. Be clear and honest and see if it fits the descriptions of what you have learned here and if you have questions go on the web and ask the seminar chat room or list to clarify it with you. We will be monitoring and responding to any such inquiries.

LOVE
Actively love what is happening. Express this active love by being actively forgiving and interested in being of service to others. Not in a slavish or demeaning way but in a confidant and strength based, loving way. Help that kid or senior citizen or fellow mortal without endangering yourself preferably. This allows the Kundalini to activate your systems much cleaner and more quickly. I know it sounds hokey but love is the strongest quality and just as the negative can turn around and bite so does the love turn around and embrace - even faster!

Love causes the energy to move rapidly and as you practice this quality you will find that negativity just doesn't seem to come your way as much and then almost never. Service to others or for others is an essential practice for the Kundalini of this lineage. Others who have activated without these teachings have and are suffering terribly and my heart goes out to them. They will learn though in their own good or bad time. They will learn what you are learning right now. This is one of the best safeties you can practice because as I mentioned before you are being observed, really, and those who are observing will not allow you, who are a part, now, of their lineage to be harmed for the practice of love. A protection has been placed around you for the purpose of giving you the opportunity to take this evolutionary step called the Kundalini. As you practice, communications and assurances will be given by this source to help you on the path. Remember your β€œthank you’s”.

GRATITUDE
Be grateful for the ideas and thoughts and wisdoms that begin to flow into your mind sometimes like a flood. Be grateful for the Kundalini as it is bringing you to a new and greater understanding of the "All that is ". Be grateful to your family and friends and perfect strangers for what they bring to your life and the opportunities that come your way. Say to yourself in your mind and heart that you are grateful for these gifts and even greater ones will come your way. This is the nature of the path you are walking. Diligence and integrity are richly rewarded.

PRAYER
This can be one of the more difficult of the safeties to practice. Especially if you were not raised in an environment respectful or embracing of prayer - like myself. There are many misconceptions about it but I won't go into those here. I will only say that it is very important and must be practiced. Christ is real, Mary is real, Yahweh, Buddha, Allah, Zeus, Cybele, to name a few. All of them are real. And yes, I know this is a "real" stretch for some of you and it was for me too. However we feel about this culturally this is just how it is behind the veil. I'm not saying to pray to all of them but if you don't already have one - Pick one that you like or pick GOD and pray. Pray for healing for a friend or a stranger or a family member. Pray for yourself. Pray for the Kundalini to take you where it is you want to go or to become what it is you want to be. These folks can be very, very helpful. Do not disregard this because you are unaccustomed to it. Stretch yourself and make this a part of your practice.
**(tek edit: You could just as well choose the Great Awareness or Collective Conscious)**
MOVEMENT

Dance or do Tai Chi or Yoga. These activities nurture the energy in your body, filling the cells and stretching the muscles. Actively practice hands on healing, volunteer, be active, and move! Play or walk but do not sit and be a couch potato. That can lead to a stagnant energy response, and you don't want that - trust me.

SINGLE NOSTRIL BREATHING
If you get to hot place your thumb or finger over your right nostril and breathe through the left continuously and with medium force. This activates the Lunar channel (Ida) and will immediately cool your heat. If you get to cold cover your left nostril breath in a similar fashion and you will warm up. This activating your Solar channel (Pingala).

COMPRESSION PRAYER/ALTERNATE NOSTRIL BREATHING
Breathe in through he left nostril with right nostril covered or blocked Breathe in with the mantra for example "The love of Christ" or "Krishna" "Buddha" or "Allah" or "I am one with the all that I am" Find one that works for you but do not leave out a recognition of God however God is to you.

Use the Law of Trinity. Say the mantra three times upon the intake of the breath through the left nostril. At the top of the breath, Hold and say the mantra three times again. At the beginning of the exhale switch nostrils by covering the left and opening the right and exhaling through the right with the mantra "the love of god" three times, timing the sequence with a "love of God" at the beginning of the exhale and the third one at the end of the exhale. This also applies to the inhales.

Now with the left nostril covered and the right nostril open, inhale with the mantra three times through the right nostril. Hold say to your self the mantra three times and then switch nostrils and cover the right and exhale with the mantra through the left nostril. This equals one cycle. This is called Triangluar breathing.

Thanks p4ksoul.

I cannot confirm or deny that these help in the process, it only hear-say to me.

Kundalini Awakening

Kundalini is a Sanskrit word that means coil. Every human has Kundalini, however, in most humans the Kundalini lies dormant in the perineum. Although most people are not aware that the Kundalini exists, Kundalini is well-known by serious spiritual seekers. Most yoga traditions aim to awaken the Kundalini, because these yoga traditions believe that the Kundalini is the power that is required to attain the ultimate goal of spiritual achievement, the union with divine.

Meaning of kunda and kundala: Kunda means bowl, or cave, and refers to the bowl of fire of consciousness resting in the first chakra at the base of the spine. Linirefers to that which resides in that bowl. Kundala means coiled, as the Shakti forms in a coil there.

Traditionally, it is believed that after being awakened, Kundalini will be able to remove the knots of the mayor chakras, cleanse, open and develop the chakras until they are fully developed into full-blooming lotus forms. By the time the Kundalini finishes opening, cleansing and developing all of the mayor chakras, the core of the Kundalini will reach the crown chakra, the chakra at the top of the head. This is the time you attain the highest spiritual achievement.

Awakening the Kundalini

There are several means to this goal - through Mantra, through Diksha ( or transfer of Divine energy from Guru to disciple), Kriya Yog, Prannayam, Ras Vigyan (use of consecrated and Samskarised mercury) and even Ayurvedic herbs and potions.

Yet the best way is of Mantra Sadhana for it is the most safe and can be tried by anyone. When Kundalini is activated there is a tremendous gush of energy which can cause great harm if not properly channelised through the body. But the Mantra Sadhana process is a slow and steady method totally free of such risk. Moreover this is done under the guidance of an accomplished Guru who can fully control the Kundalini. In this Mantra process the six Chakras are activated one at a time and there are seven stages of this Sadhana.

It is also important to note that there are different Mantras for the activation of six Chakras. One may accomplish Sadhana pertaining to a Chakra and still not experience anything. Remember it is not a miracle we are working. It is a slow and steady process and sometimes it is after some months that suddenly one becomes aware of the activation of the concerned Chakra.

In truth after Sadhana the activation takes place when the Sadhak feels most purified and free of his negative traits. One should hence continue with Sadhana of other Chakras even if no immediate results seem forthcoming.

Stages of Kundalini Process

Traditionally, there are four different stages in the Kundalini awakening:
Awakening stage (arambha)
Cleansing stage (ghata)
Absorption stage (parichaya)
Final stage (nishpatti)
Benefits of Kundalini Activation

Inside the vertebral column, there are seven lotuses located on the Brahma Nadi. These are known as Chakra (spinal centres). Each lotus possesses different number of petals and also a distinct colour.

Amazing powers evolve on a human on activation of the Kundalini and each Chakra is related to the following attainments.

1. Muladhar Chakra

This Chakra is situated in the basal region of the vertebral column at the mid spot between anus and thingy. In meditation, this Chakra is visualised as a red lotus possessing four petals. This is the resting place of the Kundalini Shakti, which lies here as a snake having three and half coil. This Chakra is the symbol of Earth element.

Activation of this results in riddance from tensions, true happiness, beauty, perfect health and physical strength, magnetic persona.

2.Swadhishtthan Chakra

This Chakra is located in the vertebral column just opposite to the penial region. In meditation, this Chakra is visualised as a vermilion coloured lotus having six petals. This semilunar Chakra is the symbol of Water element.

Activation of this results in freedom from stomach ailments, increase in sex power, and cure of sexual debility, increase in courage and fearlessness and magnetism.

3. Manipur Chakra

Inside the vertebral column, this Chakra is situated just opposite to the naval region. This ten petalled lotus is of blue colour. The Yantra of this Chakra is triangular in shape and it represents the fire element.

Activation of this results imperfect digestion, riddance from ailments like kidney stones, diabetes, liver problems etc. Success in amazing Sadhanas like flying in the air, walking on water, telepathic contact with animals and plants, perfection in Prannayam and the highest achievement is success in Meditation.

4. Anahat Chakra

The relative position of this Chakra inside the vertebral column is just opposite to the cardiac region(heart). This red coloured lotus possesses twelve petals and it represents the Air element. Activation of this Chakra illuminates the entire body and the entire vertebral column starts vibrating.

Activation of this results in peace of mind, boundless divine joy, total freedom from tensions, power to look into future, power of hypnosis, entering into Samadhi (divine trance), riddance from problems related to heart, increase in soft emotions like love, affection and kindness.

5. Vishuddha Chakra

Inside the vertebral column this Chakra is located opposite the throat region. This lotus of smoky colour possesses sixteen petals and it represents the sky element.

Activation of this results in riddance from all ailments related to throat, thyroid etc., increase in knowledge, gain of power of eloquence, deeper Samadhi, perfection in the art of Hypnotism, gain of power to die when one wills, total material success like comforts, wealth, fame etc.

6. Aagya Chakra

In Brahma Nadi (enclosed by vertebral column) this Chakra is located just opposite the mid spot between the two eyebrows. This white lotus has only two petals.

Also called the Third Eye its activation brings wondrous powers like clairvoyance, telepathy, power of giving curses or blessings, instant fulfillment of anything one wishes, and gain of knowledge related to all subjects and sciences, power to control thoughts of others and interfere even in nature.

7. Sahastrar Chakra

Beyond these six Chakras at the upper termination of the spinal cord, is the thousand petalled lotus; the abode of Lord Shiva (supreme being). When the Kundalini Shakti unites itself with the supreme being, the aspirant gets engrossed in deep meditation during which he perceives infinite bliss.

This is a subtle centre in the brain. On activation of Sahastraar a very fine, elixir-like secretion is produced from it, which permeates the whole body thus making the human for ever free of all ailments. Sahastrar Chakra is also termed as Dasham Dwar of Brahmarandhara. In my view, this Chakra is situated two inches deep inside both the temporal region and three inches deep from the midspot between the eyebrows that is in the middle portion of cerebral hemispheres. From the throat, it is located three inches above the palate and inside the brain it is located in a small hole above the 'Maha Vivar' foramen of cerebrum.

Awakening of Sahastrar renders the aspirant liberated from corporeal bondages and attachments. He is endowed with all kinds of divine attainments including 'Ashta Siddhi' and 'Nava Nidhi'.He becomes an omniscient Yogi. Being emancipated from the cycles of birth and death, he certainly achieves the final beatitude. One is fully enlightened and can then envision any event going on anywhere in the universe with out entering into Samadhi. All natural elements come under oneÒ€ℒs control.

The practice of awakening Kundalini Shakti must be done only under the guidance of a competent Guru. Sometimes when the aspirant practices such exercises only after going through some books, he endangers his own life and there are chances of his becoming insane.

Really, fortunate is the person who attains his divine Guru. That person is fortunate who strives for awakening of the Kundalini Shakti and only that person is called God-illumined who after activating his Kundalini Shakti, gets the totality of life.

Or you can simply focus on what sees all of that, then kundalini is a side effect of awakening rather than a desired prerequisite for awakening

Then you miss the rest of the aspects of awakening =-/

Your free to do or not to do as you wish, there is no trust required, don't believe what I say, just find out for yourself.

It is very possible to outsmart yourself trying to come to an intellectual conclusion.

If you have already achieved the tingling intuition of the pineal, then you may be able to just work your way down.

If what you say is true, you probably arrived there through the Ida, which is considered by some to be very dangerous.

What do you mean by this?  I've never heard this term before.

OK, I found that it's an energy channel, but now I'm curious why going through the Sushumna is different.  Would awakening through other channels be how unintended awakenings come about?

Ecstasy is great for awakening the "kundalini" energy. :coaster:

My point is that whatever centre of energy you focus on your Self is there to focus on it, so focusing on that Self is more central & immediate than focusing on any other centre of energy.

Kundalini is an effect of Self realization, not the other way round. Trying to do it the other way round is far more dangerous.

Chronic, have you ever played an RPG game? You are suggesting to take your brand new character (lvl1) to the end of the game and trying to complete that content without leveling up 1st or having any knowledge of it.

By skipping all the points in between, fail to have any experience of of the points that come before it.

Focusing on the self is irrelevant. What you are becomes clear when you awaken. There is no way to truly know what you are before this, because you haven't experienced you fully. You only think you have and trap yourself into an intellectual prison, outsmarting yourself.

There are many pitfalls in the mind, and it is the most difficult center to transverse. It is far less dangerous to level up before attempting the last step, because then you have the experience as well as the tools gained along the way to help you, making it easy.

That's how I see it, but I only really know the path that I have fallowed.

What do you mean by this?  I've never heard this term before.

OK, I found that it's an energy channel, but now I'm curious why going through the Sushumna is different.  Would awakening through other channels be how unintended awakenings come about?

I think it is very possible. If you awakened unintentionally, then you should probably try to drop your anchor (so to speak).

My point is that whatever centre of energy you focus on your Self is there to focus on it, so focusing on that Self is more central & immediate than focusing on any other centre of energy.

Kundalini is an effect of Self realization, not the other way round. Trying to do it the other way round is far more dangerous.

Each layer of consciousness connects directly with the chakras. You can focus on them or not but they will have to open its a prerequisite for Kundalini.

That was tl;dr, and by the looks of it your making things way to complicated, plus kundalini is not awakening, just a step along the way.

Just investigate the three marks of conditioned existence, really really get to know they and you will understand. impermanence (anicca); suffering or unsatisfactoriness (dukkha); non-self (anattā)

They are the gate's, the underlying basis for awakening, different names for different traditions but they are there. Know one fully, and you know all three and yourself.

Both of you are right, essentially what you are doing is taking something that appears solid to the mind, ie. the sensations in your spine. And you're penetrating it and seeing it's sub components that make it up.

When there is enough clarity, speed, and precision in doing this there is a sense of energy flowing around the body and its usually accompanied by feelings of rapture and joy.

You don't need to use the spine though, it's helpful that's what some Hindu traditions do but not necessary, you could use your shoulder, arm, head, legs, whatever. Or as Chronic is saying you could just watch the flow of what enters awareness.

Take a thought for example, thoughts are usually visual, audio, tactile, or some combination of those. The same thing will start to happen when the aggregated group called "thought" is penetrated and seen in its sub sensations (An image, a feeling, tightness in the chest,) etc. etc.

The way I understand this is through Therevada Buddhism, this experience is called knowledge of the arising and passing. It's usually a peak experience and after its passed the pendulum swings back in the other direction and there's a lot of dark negative feelings for a while and eventually enough concentration is needed and those feelings have to be penetrated.

I experience a very very strong A&P about two weeks ago, from noting arose tingling in hands which led to the A&P which I recorded as:

Quote:

Vibrations and pleasure increased, then increased more, then became very intense feeling of ecstasy all over my body. Lights behind eyes became bright, but kept focus on sensations. Blood flow increased into genitals, breathing increased and became more like panting.I had to stop myself from laughing it felt so good, I could have just loose with loud laughter but felt it would disrupt me. Instead a huge smile - the biggest smile I have smiled emerged, it just barely kept me from laughing at the joy. This state took noticeable effort to sustain the feelings, which I did by concentrating on the sensations. Some thoughts popped in, mostly about the experience and what I was going to do after - but I let them float by. Intense pleasure seemed to last about one minute before it slowly faded and I dropped out of it.

Since then I have kind of been up and down, experiencing some difficult dark night meditations as well as very pleasant ones. Sitting an average of 4 hours a day has allowed me to make some progress. Still searching for that stream I see on the horizon . Have a 10 day retreat coming up next month, hopefully noting my way though it will yield some results.

Awesome! Glad to hear there's people on this forum who are actually getting things done and it isn't all just mindless bickering

I haven't gotten Stream yet either, I started vipassana last january, feel like I'm starting to understand the territory better though. Got into some weird dark night stuff yesterday (felt like bugs crawling up my left arm with my muscles being pulled in two directions) but once summer comes I'm going on a 10 day solo retreat.

Good luck on your retreat though, from everyone I've read experiences of, they got Stream by relentlessly noting everything from morning till night time without any easing up.

Why is it that whenever kundalini is mentioned there is always this lurking sense of danger involved?  Also, why must a guru be involved?  Surely someone has raised their kundalini alone safely. Right?  Has anyone here ever experienced any episodes of insanity from raising kundalini?

I ask because I am definitely aware of my chakras, especially in meditation, and I sometimes don't know where it's really getting me.  For example, every night around 8-9ish I start getting noticeable sensations in the center of my head.  Sometimes it spreads to my temples and is distracting from what I'm doing, but if I focus on my forehead it goes away.  In these situations should I embrace the sensations or think more energy into them and move them around?  I've read about moving the energy up through the top of my head as well as down to the heart, but I'm not really sure what's best for me.  I guess I'm mostly curious why certain chakras spontaneously open and what I should do next.

Cool, I feel like I am getting to know it better as well from reading MCTB and stuff on KFD. Got tired of floundering around with different meditation styles and noting seems to really work for me. Going to a Genoka retreat, so don't really plan on following their course as much as just noting relentlessly - I feel as if its going to be a tough start the first few days to get into the grove but should produce tremendous results.

At this point in my life SE is about the only thing I want. Through my past experiences I now know that nothing in the material world is going to fully satisfy and fill that void, so its a lot of motivation to sit more.

Once summer comes around I plan on going into the woods to find some solitude and do some solo mini-retreats.
