B+ grow time

So this is my first time growing B+ and penis envy uncut. Normally my cakes dont take this long to pin but its been 17 days. I've noticed the PE have been growing well for about 5 days but still no B+ and i've read that sometimes B+ takes longer to pin. Is this true or should I be worried? They are in the same FC under the same conditions made with BRF/verm dunked and rolled.

Every now and then, my B+ strain takes a little longer to initiate pinning than usual. 17 Days is a little longer than average for the pins to form on the first flush, but it isnt too far out of line. Give it a few more days, you should see pins soon. How long did you dunk the cakes before putting them in the fc? Do you mist/fan? Are they receiving adequate light?

13 days is usually my magic number when it comes to B atleast with grains. Havnt done a cake in a little while, usually just do them as a fun side project. Got any pics? If it's fully colonized and in the same conditions as the PE id say you have nothing to worry about and should see fruits any day now

All the cakes are in a shotgun FC. I dunked for 24 hours and mist/fan at least 3-4 times a day. I have a daylight halogen lamp running 12 on and 12 hours off.
I have no pics but a lot of myc knots formed on most cakes, but they have been there over a week so I was expecting something for a while but still nothing.

17 days or a week? either way i think your okay. If you have knots forming the fruits should soon. Now that i think of it, im pretty sure i always think my cakes take forever when i fruit them.

don't worry for 2 reasons:
1) sometimes substrains take their time with fruiting. 2) ya can't really do anything anyways

if PE are fruiting beside them well, then you're doin all ya can.
good luck!

Well patience is key, but 17 days was a little extreme for me. But the pins have arrived so i'm feelin a lot better.
