Removing dying leaves (B. Caapi)
    #14133900 - 03/16/11 09:52 PM (12 years, 10 months ago)

I have a Cielo and White strain, and White couldn't be better.  Cielo has had a hard time but has finally coming out of shock, and started new leaves.  It has dropped 3 leaves (of 7-8, and going on it's fourth, which one of it's largest leaves) through browning at tips and eventually the leaf ->dead.

It's doing better now, after transplanting and acclimatizing.  Can I just remove the dying leaf early so it can put more energy into new growth rather than the big more than half dead leaf?

You can remove dead/dying leaves. It shouldn't do any harm and is actually good house keeping.

Dead and decaying organic matter laying around the growroom/greenhouse is one way to attract pests and diseases.
