yeah I read that and I live in north Georgia so I was hoping they could be Panaeolus cinctulus or one of the others on the list. I've never done shrooms before so I was kind of excited but you guys said they are poisonous and I trust you. thanks for the warning

Check out how to make a "real identification" request - and with all the info numerous people here can tell you just about exactly what you have!! 1st rule of hunting fungi - DON"T EAT unless your 110% sure what you got Happy Hunting - look out for psilocybe weilii in the spring and especially the fall

I also found some others that look like another species but I don't think they're one of the species on the list for Georgia. Can anyone confirm this?

damn I just registered on this site and I can see you guys really know your stuff. I'll probably need your help later on since I want to keep looking for shrooms, I havent been able to find anyone who sells em. that is unless I'm wasting my time looking for em this early in the year. anyways, thanks for all the quick and helpful responses!

Yea it is too early for GA. You should still go mushroom hunting every day so you can learn the non-actives and edibles.
