hardest part of Audio Producing -Finding a Program

after months of aimless searching for working pirated audio production programs i've decided to go back to what i started out in years ago..
Propellerhead Reason..
i never really liked that program.. but it's really the only one that i'm familiar with.. besides audition
so many problems come up when i find something that seems even somewhat comprehensible. thangs not working n such
viruses n corrupted filez, etc.
idk maybe i'm just making excuses. but it's just so damn hard to find a right program without spending any money.
now i just gotta hope i can find a reason pirate that works good. then i can get to doin' thangs
i wish i knew more about thangs. and how to work in programs
anyone know what a good program is for producing audio thangs? accompanied w/ a working torrent?
i'm downloading some sort of reason torrent now and am gonna see how that works out
i just reallly want to start producing audio again it's been so long and i've been putting it off forevvvver.. for reasons mentioned above
hhopefully Reason will be right for starting out in. then once i get the hang of that can move ontoo more complex n intricate thangs
i hope this makes sense ive been awake for over 24 hours so im kinda n just gotta do this downloadin' thang so i can get to sleep n finally get to doin' thangs when i wake up

hopefully...

Ableton
Reason obviously has a lot of flexibility but its hard as hell for me to figure out.. I'd prefer even FLstudio ( )
FL is definitely the easiest to get started on, with a few 3rd party plug ins its almost as good as any other DAW out there.

or how to assign thangs to midi keyboard

I use Ableton but with Reason rewired into it. It is the best combo i believe. I like reason for sound flexibility and sound design but you just can't beat the flow of Ableton.

Audacity, is good for recording. FL is pretty basic, but complex. Good for beginning users. Abelton is also good.

machines... real machines.
invest in a sampler and a drum sequencer and a microphone.
or.. in otherwords... reason is probably your best bet... but without a midi programmable keyboard, you're gonna have a lot of sequencing to do.

Are you looking for electronic loops and midi kinda shit, or live instrument recording/mixing? I use cubase 5 myself.
http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/5544373/Steinberg_Cubase_5.1_DVDR-AiRISO_With_Cubase_v5.12_AIR-UPDATE
If you download, be sure to read everything about the install. For some reason, people have problems with it, most likely from not reading the install info. I burned the iso file to a dvd and ran it from there no problem.

i have a midi keyboard i just need to figure out how to map it and do all those crazy thangs

both preferably. i wanna keep expanding once i get the hang of basic stuff. right now i just wanna be doing SOMETHING rather than nothing. so anything that works would be good. and something that's simple enough to figure out
but since i have a keyboard tho and not any acoustic instruments i guess i'd be focusing on midi stuff ATM

If you're a keyboardist, Reason is the way to go. Subtractor, Malstrom, NN-19, NN-XT, and the almighty THOR!
It's what I use.
Seriously, Reason is perfect for the solo keyboardist and also has the capacity to make very good and complex tracks.

Oh, and if you get Record on top of Reason, you'll be pretty much set for everything.

I have a working copy of acid pro 5.0, it's out dated but has a lot of control. I can set up a torrent and give it to you.

We use Pro Tools HD 8.0
Soon to be upgraded to 9.0
When I was at NAMM this year, they had this sick program coming out called Strike which replicates the dynamics of a real drummer but its all programmed drums. Its so sick

There are a few.
Maschine awesome hardware and AMAZING software, a little pricey but worth every penny.
Ableton, really awesome software, a little hard to use.
Fruity is good software, limits in some ways but still good software to use as long as you use other plugins for sounds and use it for layout.
Reason is horrible. Don't use reason.

yeah i didn't like reason when i was using it either but i think it might be easier than having to figure out how to use a program from scratch, as it's the only one i know how to use
ppl say it's good for a solo keyboardist. and that is what i am
this :
was the first song i made in that program lol i made that back in '06 i think

I got Reason, then I went to YouTube and watched tutorials on what each piece of rack equipment could do. I got pretty proficient at making some cool noises. But I still fail at actually making any decent music

Pro tools kicks major ass if you're going to be using a lot of recordings and audio - for that it cannot be beat... but for primarily midi work or live stuff I'd rather use Ableton.
