I would ask him about his favorite fairy tale. I would say "Dear Mr. Alpert, how you could you be so fucking gullible as to believe an inexperienced user could eat 1000 mcgs of pure LSD and not be affected? You know that Criss Angel could do the same palm off trick with ease, don't you?"
And then I would ask "Hey Dick, how can you meditate for 45 years and practice awareness not NOT know something was wrong when you were paralyzed on the floor for six hours? That seems beyond obvious and takes no mental discipline."
And then I might ask "If I adopt a quirky Sanskrit name, will that make me more spiritual than keeping my Anglo name?"

i sent in your first question, he said that maharaji didnt seem to be affected by the acid....but that doesnt mean it didnt do anything to him he just didnt show any signs of it. he said he gave it to him on 2 different occasions when he went to india and he watched him very closely.

On that LSD point...in Stan Grov's book "realms of human unconscious" which chronicles his LSD pyschotherapy. He had some guy take 500 with no effects.
He had some extreme mental disorder and it took I think 6 sessions before his defenses broke down enough to allow a trip.
How all that relates to a guru who thinks he's an incarnation of shiva or whatever I leave to you.

I've never tripped on LSD despite attempts with legit tabs

I've got a friend who's eaten shrooms several times...up to five grams and nothing.
She's got a crazy past (witnessed murders etc) and IMO her brain has built such walls to keep those memories out that it stops the trip.

Try about 12 drops/hits. You'll trip. A lot of acid is wimp compared to the shit in the 70s. At least it seems that way to me.

Well yeah, I've read back then it was average 250 a hit. In the 60s it was 300-400. Now it's like 100-150. Maybe.

As Ram Dass inplicated that his guru was so advanced as to be beyond tripping, then you and others who are unable to trip must be enlightened as well.

You would watch an accomplished magician close-up and still be fooled.
Using Occam's razor which explanation is the MOST likely:
1. The guru palmed-off or otherwise failed to swallow the acid. (We know this is possible.)
2. The guru's brain was rewired by meditation so as to be unaffected by a powerful chemical. (This is pure speculation.)
More importantly, why do True Believers automatically go for #2 and dismiss the more obvious?
