Can we just talk about this? I'm not hating on anyone necesarilly, I just think it is dumb when people use words they dont know how to use.

If you call a pancake trippy, you are stripping the person you are telling it to of any way to respond to what you say. I would much rather you just describe the experience you have with the pancake. Was it melting in your mouth? Was there something about the pancake that made you think in thought loops? Did it behave differently than other pancakes?
By the way, go to Allgood. We need more like you
At the time I was at a loss for words and thus fell back on the word trippy. I agree that it may not be the most descriptive word ever, but sometimes you just can't put a thought or feeling into words. This is when I use "trippy".
Also, what is Allgood?

I hate frying on mushrooms with people who only seem to be able to blurt out how trippy everything is every five minutes while they look around in slack jawed wonder.

True that. Why I prefer tripping alone for the most part.

With some of my closest tripping friends we play a game when we eat acid or mushrooms or any kind of psychedelic. The rules are simple. You can't say the words "tripping" or anything related to it. It sounds silly but it's actually a good game. Some journeys nobody will slip the word, but sometimes it just happens and someone says it, everybody knows they lost the game. When I explain it here it doesn't sound as good, but it makes for good times.

when i trip alone i tend to get lost in my own mind games alot
like thinkin' about thangs and over-analyzing a bunch of thangs like how breakfast cereals are made and the processes they go through to get the thangs from the crops into the boxxes and onto the shelfs and into my cereal bowl
and thinkin' about how carpet designs are thought up..
or try and connect certain events thatve happened in my own life to ideas i've heard about recently
lay out a mental-projection map of past events and go through 'em and add some thangs onto it and draw up different pathways i could take
thangs like that
i seem to be able to distract myself from that "mental hell" though quite efficiently w/ some music and pretty thangs liek glitter and incense stix or cotton balls and cool lookin' pictures n video thangs
