the other tsunami victims...
    #14130308 - 03/16/11 11:51 AM (13 years, 2 months ago)

let there be no further doubt that the repugs have the curried favour of a capricious god...

to put it briefly ..they are now free to implement their perverted agenda without fear of media scrutiny..and the unions cannot fight back in the media spotlite.. so long as all eyes are turned to japan...

it wont take long for the resulting sweatshop economy to add at least as many american deaths to the tsunamis' toll...

the mere fact that such a tragedy should prove so fortuitous for the repugs and the plutocrats..however unintentionally.. is all the proof anyone should need as to how evil they really are...

Wut?

Because a tragedy takes focus off of the union debate, that proves how evil they really are?

Over the top a bit?  Here's a hint.  Most people on all sides of a political debate are supporting what they believe is in peoples' best interests.  They aren't inherently evil just because you think they are wrong.

not specifically because it takes focus off the debate.. but more broadly because it works to their advantage for whatever reason...i cant accuse the repugs of causing the tsunami..but they still stand to become the big winners...

Anna doesn't seem to worry about facts and logic.  She just declares things to be so.  I'm unsure why she thinks these edicts are persuasive.

I think it also takes attention away from the fact we are all getting ass raped every time we go to the gas station. Why when Bush was pres. all I heard was he's an oil man, he wants higher gas prices, his family made their fortunes in oil, the oil cartel has him in their pocket, etc. Yet when Obama himself stated he would like to see oil prices rise, his energy secretary is on record stating they would like to find a way to increase gas prices, etc. no one says shit. There was the "accidental" oil platform explosion, the drilling moratorium, and those in the cia/state dept. fomenting uprisings in oil producing nations. Obama is none too happy to tell the foreign leaders to leave the demonstrators alone, only prolonging the oil crisis and further increasing the cost of energy. This is EXACTLY what he stated he wanted.

All of this only further burdens the already impoverished american taxpayer, ensures our businesses are less competitive and prolongs unemployment. Do I believe Obama had something to do with the explosion? No, but he sure the hell has used it to his benefit and our detriment. So, wheres the criticism towards Barak that we heard given voice during the Bush years. Guess the tsunami takes ones mind off alot of things.

Whether they will benefit or not is incidental, not their fault, and doesn't make them evil.

You using such a massive tragedy to push your agenda isn't necessary appalling, because I expect it of you, but it is kind of disgusting.

how am i using the tragedy to push my agenda??...in either case..the repugs didnt cause the tsunami (however tempting it may be to think they did).. its just the mere fact that their coming out the big winners in it that makes them evil...and i dont hear them rejecting the favour of a demonic god either...
