North Canada Outdoor Cultivation

Hello everyone,
I live in Quebec, Canada and I have looked to the FAQ
and found that those species grow here:
Panaeolus subbalteatus
Psilocybe semilanceata

I'm wondering if Cubensis can be grown outdoor as well ?
The spring is quite cold but after mid-May, temperature stays around 10
during the night. There are a lot of nice places here to make outdoor patches.

Also, can I make the patch even if the temperature goes near 5 during the night ?
I would like to start it as soon as possible.

Will a frost night kill the mycelium ?

why not FOAF lives in ontario and mid may there are shrooms growing everywhere in the area also this FOAF has lived in florida and california and the weather conditions are almost perfect, just be carefull cuz farmerz and park workerz put anti fungal in everything nowadays...

Hehe you don't know rural Canada :-)
We have tons of open spaces here.

Ontario (southern) is much more warm than here.
Btw, I live near the 48th parallel.

Hey im wondering too. I live in Nova Scotia :smile:

Im pretty sure Panaeolus subbalteatus would work in an outdoor patch...But the small fruit size, and not the best potency...Im wondering how effective that would be...

I want to toss my old cubensis casings outside, mix with some dung and straw...Then cover with more straw...Water that. And hopefully get some fruits.
