I really think SARS could be the next flu pandemic. In 1958 another virus from the Guang Dong region of China killed a million people...the "Asian Flu". Ten years later a virus from the same region again killed a million people. I think it's too late for hopes of containment. If it keeps spreading I'd say we're in for a massive death toll.

but i agree with you, this virus is going to spread like wildfire...thank your travelers for this one.

i was in vantaa airport in helsinki when the flight from ho chi minn city came in and near the arrivals area where 2 ppl had come into finland with the virus on that same flight. thank goodness i don't have it.

Actually, I heard on CSPAN that they had 700 people quarantined and 37 cases are being investigated on this continent... that was last Thursday.

I dont think we will see alot of it on TV until it can no longer be ignored by the govt.
