Oh man, it sounds like you had an amazing time! I cannot wait to try shrooms!
And I fucking LOVE Depeche Mode. They are one of my all time favorite bands. And it just occurred to me that I have never listened to them high or tripping before

It always makes me glad to see Shroomerites reaching out beyond the intrawebs to kick ass with each other. Some of my best friends are Shroomerites, and i'll take their friendships to the grave.
Shroomerites for life.

Depeche Mode IS my favorite band. Violator has impacted my life more than any other album ever! Martin Gore's lyrics all have obvious meaning, and they actually go so much deeper than they initially appear. Also, I highly recommend Touring The Angel (2006), if you havent seen it. Epic show!

perfectest shower ever. im still having slight visual distortion and sensations too
What is this psychedelic soap you speak of?
no, its actually called pine tar soap. this. i love it! he was funny as hell last night though. he was staring at this bar of soap forever! he actually made me take a picture of a damn bar of soap! good times!
The reason why I stared at it so long and was all by it is because the mere act of receiving a gift just really blew my fucking mind. I never knew a bar of soap could touch my heart the way it did, but hey, that's a psychedelic experience for you! I felt like the Universe was showering me with gifts. The shrooms (duh!), meeting you, the glass of water you gave me, the blanket; remember I said as we were coming up that my only intention for the trip was to further strengthen my bond with the Universe? Well... mission accomplished.
Man I can't wait for the next time we dose and watch all those fucking badass flicks. The Fountain (TRIPPIN MONKEY + METAPHYSICALLY MEDITATING HUGH JACKMAN ), Once Upon A Time In The West ( ), possibly Renegade... and since you gave me a little preview of some truly epic shit I'm going to bring an epic movie of my own for us to check it. It's called Cidade De Deus/City of God if you have ever heard of it?
And yeah I'm going to definitely bring along some Salvia next time. I recall a member here attesting to how powerful a Salvia blunt is when you're already tripping on psyches though I'm debating whether to do that, just bring my bowl or do both.
This will be quite the mindshattering year if I do say so myself and chocked full of vibes of the highest, most positive order.

YESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYES! Dude sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much fucking trippy shit was happening while we were watching that. I can't imagine how it'd be if we watched it during the peak as opposed to the come-up.

I cannot fucking wait for when the NYC gathering happens. If I could I'd love there to be an international Shroomery gathering, that would be so sweet! Everyone here seems pretty awesome.

Depeche Mode is fucking amazing!!
Violater IS the greatest album ever!! But all of their music is amazing! The singer is a crazy poet of his generation, I love it.
Have you guys ever listened to Depeche Mode 101? It is an incredible live album, highly recommended, and I normally dislike live recordings, but this one is fantastic.

Check my sig brother, we will be hosting a gathering in Az this year, like we do every other year
I've been going pretty steadily since 2004 or so, missing a few gathering this past three years.
We always have out of towners and we would love to chill with the East coast
Feel welcome is all I'm saying.

Depeche Mode has helped me through some rough times, as sappy as that soounds. I actually got to see them live for Touring The Angel in Atlanta. It was epically awesome

By the way... good shit on having a graemlin in your honor. The little dude looks very familiar to me.

The first song I heard was... Personal Jesus (thank you Grand Theft Auto )
After watching that DVD I have to conclude you are one of the luckiest fuckers EVER! Remember, I'm predominately an extreme metalhead so needless to say I never expected to fucking completely dig all this stuff he showed me last night.
Fun Fact: One of my old High School deans (who later became the Principal in my Sophomore year) was a VERY HUGE Depeche Mode fan. Like... to the point where he would see them every time they toured in NYC and would discuss them with me and my buds like crazy. We constantly urged him to play some DM for the morning school bell whenever we saw him.
He finally did one day. We fucking rejoiced.

Thanks man, it took some serious appealing to get it added in my name, but I had some serious support to counter it
Plus He is what I had as my Avatar for the prior couple of years:

hehe.
It is Elecman from the original Mega Man for NES. He is the coolest boss in my opinion, and therefore would make the coolest greamlin... So I found a little sprite of him throwing an electric beam and had it giffed to my tune.
It feels good to be able to sign my name with a greamlin

I am not one to buy very many albums, but when I went to NYC on vacation one year, I came home with the entire Depeche Mode discography. I fucking love them, and I agree, I love how they have developed over the years. They can sound different, but they still have something special and unique about them. OMG, I wish I had time to upload all their albums tto my computer. I lost them all when I reformatted.
But no, I have to study my ass off for finals when I get home I need to listen to some Depeche Mode!
oh and nice avatar, awakenedone
