UV light. Could it work?
    #14125119 - 03/15/11 02:08 PM (13 years, 10 months ago)

If i got myself a UV light and left it on in my empty grow room, would all possible contaminants be killed?

If so, how long does a UV light need to achieve this?

I'm wondering because UV light are known to to make mold spore incapable of reproduction. So I figured, instead of washing an entire room, why not just UV it up.

Any thoughts?

UV light causes cancer, blindness, mutations and death. There's no place for UV in home mycology.

Assuming I turn it on in the room and left immediately?

I lol'd though. Your answer might as well be a punch in the face lol.

But again... empty room, noone in there.... plausible?

There's no place for UV light in home mycology.

Plus, you don't need it if you'll just listen to the people that know how to grow mushrooms.
