New Cultivator, Need Help!

Hey, as mentioned I am a new to cultivating and this is my second attempt from the same spore syringe. I inoculated 3 weeks ago and I'm wondering if there's any signs of Mycelium growth here. On my first attempt there were no signs of any sort of fungal growth after a month and I threw the jars away.
I used organic popcorn and followed the soaking/sterilization/inoculation methods exactly for both attempts. Any info would be great, TY.

3 weeks and no growth on both attempts
you got your syringe from a bunk dealer more then likely..order your syringe from ralphstersspores, or sporeworks and try again..

Popcorn has historically been known as a very poor choice for cultivation. Use Wild Bird Seed or Rye Berries next time.

Ya, don't think popcorn is why there isn't growth. Just letting him know there are better spawn materials out there.

Popcorn is fine. I like it, even if it has less inoculation points. But that jar is contaminated with bacteria.

Damn, I was afraid that you guys would say that my syringes we're bad. However, I did buy them from Sporeworks... Also, I forgot to mention on my first attempt I used PF cakes.

There is too much water in your jar, that's why it got contaminated with bacteria. It is no easy task to get the correct water content when using popcorn. After simmering, let them dry for at least a couple of hours. Also, use newspapers or kitchen paper to dry them.

There is definitely too much water. After you soak them over night, let them drip completely in a mesh strainer. When you PC, leave the lid cracked so that vapor can escape. It will help to crack the grains first, which can usually be accomplished by simmering them until they crack themselves.
Finally, you can soak the grains (whatever they are) in very dilute coffe water infused with 4% honey (organic, non, doesn't matter). For whatever reason, myc loves coffee. Myc loves honey (only 4%). If the grains are cracked, the myc has much less work to do to get the goodies. Just don'r scorch the nutes!
Best of Luck.

We want popcorn to burst?
Wow. This stands popcorn alone then.
I have not used it, but have always liked that it was there as a backup.

There are a few factors that could be a cause for contamination. IT definitely looks like bacteria.
Does it smell funky? Kind of like garbage?
I agree with the above comments to switch to WBS or Rye. Rye is especially easy to get the moisture content right. So if you have access to rye get it.
Also, I would attempt using BRF again. It is more fool proof and at this point I think the most important goal is to get a secure grow in order to get some prints.
Once you have expanded on your spore count, then start experimenting with some other methods.
Since you are starting to learn about growing, it is important you FOLLOW THE TEK WORD FOR WORD that you choose to use. If you are making BRF cakes with RR's video, you really can't go wrong, unless you forget a step or something.
Do you have a PC?
I don't mean to play 20 questions, but the more information you give about your process the easier it is to know where something went wrong.
Cheers KM

Hey Biologys, I suppose you owe the kid your spore collection.
