Court ordered AA is complete bullshit! AA has a huge religious agenda that they push on people and is not helpful to very many people at all.

I went to an AA meeting once when I was 15. That place was so depressing. I guess if I quit drinking I would be depressed too.

Eh, go to the meeting and put on a big smiley face. Going to boring, smoke-filled meetings beat sitting in jail.

Ask if they can send you to Church instead so you can at least have a bloody writeoff next tax season.

Seriously, that's some huge bullshit that the court can order that. It's almost like ordering someone to go to church because AA demands that you "submit to a higher power" which i think is even more bullshit because it takes away personal responsibility and control if you have a drinking problem.
Plus, individual tailored therapies work best; AA may work for some people, but it's definitely not viable for everyone.
I'd be so pissed in your situation. I'd want to tell them they couldn't do that because of AA's setup almost blatantly involves religion

i signed for my cousin many times threw a 1 year period and never got the first call. most P.O.`s dont check at all. his P.O. turned out to be a drunk herself- must have been the stress. try to go to N.A. if you must go then, at least you can meet new connections!!! 2 years will go by fast bra, do not ever test positive on a "U-A" and they wont realy have reason to check you out and you may get off early.

Go to AA rather than sitting in jail. At least you can rant your ass off there about what you don't like. The funniest thing I saw at an AA meeting, some guy suddenly stood up, and said in a loud voice, "Fuck this shit, I'm going to go get fucked up" and walked out.

You're gonna have a fucking sponsor, and those assholes are gonna call you, and talk to you about God while you're trying to eat breakfast before work and shit. They're gonna act like they care because it was God's wish to put them there to help you.
Fuck it, I'd fail a UA and do 6 months county before they ever got me in that AA shit.

I'd report my "sponsor" for harrasment. Then when he gets locked up for it, I'd call the jail house and tell them he told me he wanted to kill himself. Then they'd put him in the suicide tank with the paper gown and no blankets.
 Where is your god now?

Indeed.
I had to do this about 5 or 6 years ago when I got caught underage drinking and vandalizing with friends. They hit me with underage drinking when I blew a .03 or something crazy like that and made me go to AA meetings where I was with people who had major problems much worse than mine (I never drank much when I was younger). Just jump through their hoops and hopefully you'll be lucky enough to get some kind of deal.. My charges were dropped because I attended the classes and did their community service.
