Amanita Tea, an experience I will never forget...*revised*

To anyone who has ever questioned whether Amanita muscaria is worth it or not, I still can not give you an answer that is either in favor or not. After this weekend, I can, however, tell you my experience with it. I have no idea what level I reached but it was amazing. I have never been so out of it as I was when I drink the tea of the gods. Three decent sized caps made into a tea that will fit comfortably into one coffee cup, here's a hint, DON'T DRINK THE WHOLE FUCKING THING! It was WAY to over the top for me for the first time. It was like a mushroom trip that takes two to three hours to really hit its peak. What I have written ahead of this sentence here is a detailed description of what I had said on tape while experiencing Amanita...
It's 8:42. Three normal sized Amanita caps (from Iamshaman), boiled in water for 20 min. Let slightly boil for 16 min., let simmer down for 4 mins. Strained the caps, dumped the caps, came out with one coffee cup full of tea. I had made it with a raspberry tea, called celestial seasonings Raspberry Gardens green tea, from wal-mart. I used two packets of tea, probably only needed one. Used some splenda for sweetening. *Being telling the whole story over again until half way through*...I'm really fucked up at this point. Put them in at 6:51, was ready at around 7:11. Drank them at around 7:15-7:20. Didn't taste too great. Tasted like someone put their feet in my tea. Waited till about 8:52, didn't feel to much, decided to smoke some kb to get it started. Got me really high, then felt that I was trippin'. I thought I was really cold at first because my appartment is, and I had *unaudible at this point really, I lost control over the volume of my voice. Started out talking normal then started whispering and now some parts are difficult to hear on the tape". I decided to do something and have been walking around since 8:41 pm. It's only 8:45. At least a couple of min. have passed. I should have extreme cotton-mouth right now but my mouth feels like a fucking water fall. Seriously it feels like all the water in my body is spewing out through my tounge. Definatly feel like i'm in a cube trip. Things are a little different looking. Ravi Shankar is the best stuff to listen to right now. Gonna go back to playing San Andreas and I'll try to get back to you within an hour...
This is how not to do this...it is 8:52, I filled like three inches, um like an inch or two of a cup with spit...
I would of replied earlier but I was in the shower (I thought if I took a shower I would stop sweating...didn't work) it's 10:08. Became overcome with sweat, decided to take a shower. Needed to take a shower. Decided to make the dome as hottest temp. Really trip p i n' n o w...i'm lacking in time with myself. Time can kinda, no I should say my body is going in and out of itself...nothing with color really. Just feel different. Kind of felt sick. Eating smarties...ooo strawberry ( I really wasn't eating smarties, it was those awful candy valentine hearts )...got a dumdum, no ...yeah. And like um yeah...I'm really diggin this music...the one is like lsa...yeah I would highly recommend these amyone, making the tea, cannot be denied...
After this point I was lost in my own environment. My consciousness and unconsciousness were talking to each other. One of the voices decided that I had poisioned myself and I would probably die during the night ( I think this was my consciousness because I was a little worried at first but Ignored it. I'm sure my unconsciousness knew what was happening...). Trying to do the most basic of tasks was an adventure (i.e. getting up to walk to the bathroom and come back and sit down...I would be walking around for 20 min. before I realized I had not completed my task of going to the bathroom.). Playing video games was a task. A "underground" band from Seatle called The Building Press was the cd I spent a lot of time with. It was the perfect music (besides for Ravi Shankar's Bridges). I passed out around 1:00 in the morning and woke back up around 5:30. I was still sweating, spitting, and trippin' when I woke up at 5:30. I decided to turn everything off and get back to sleep. When I awoke the next day around noon, I felt wonderful. I was starting to come down with a cold the night before, but when I awoke, my body felt so healthy and I still have not recieved that cold.
After reflecting on this event, I might try Amanitas again but not for a long time. When you ask soma to reveal it's secrets and powers, you best be prepared. If you do what I did, make sure you don't drink all of the tea by yourself (at least the first time). If you do drink all of the tea, have yourself a peaceful night. Respect the world, Respect the gods, respect yourself.

I'm curious as well. This was an interesting Amanita report, and one pushing me to try them. I've been debating it for a while, but I think in due time I'll eventually find my way with them. That's another reason why I was curious about the dose.
Good report, glad you had a wild ride.
