Congestion

I hate being congested. I could deal with the massive headaches, sore throat, and dry coughs, but I absolutely hate being congested.
I have to blow my nose every 3 minutes and it sucks. I work in food service and every time I blow my nose I have to wash my hands. I also can't blow my nose during the 2 hour dinner rush. Is there anything I can do to not be congested anymore? I don't take anything with pseudoephedrine.
Anybody else congested?

Although they're quite addictive, those nasal sprays really do work (at least for me.) I just have to be careful not to over do them because the rebound effects make the congestion 10x worse.

How often do you use it? How expensive is it? I'll do anything to get rid of this.

It's cheap. Prolly $5 for the "name brand" ones, but the generics are the same thing.
I think it says use every 4-6 hours or so, but I find it lasts about 2 But a quick bump every couple hours beats being totally clogged up. Just don't use it for more than 2 days straight or when you quit using it you'll be worse off than when you started.

You know what they call home remedies and homeopathic treatments that have been scientifically proven to work?

Alright, maybe I'll grab some nasal spray before work.
I have some ginger/kava tea but the ginger gives me a stomach ache. I know ginger helps with stomach problems but I wasn't aware it helped congestion. I also have peppermint tea. I think I'll have a glass of that before bed.

the peppermint tea probably wont help, its cooling, not heating.
the ginger tea works the same way that spicy indian food makes your nose run.

I didn't get the nose spray but my roommate gave me some dex/guaf pill combo that is supposed to help coughs and congestion. I hate this so much. I hate congestion.
