my full name is Jesus Gone Rogue. but i dont care for all the hype about names. i remember faces much better.
i think names should only be given to people who have truly earned the right to be remembered.

It's their parents genes passed on to them and their name trends towards their parents attitudes/personalities. Only logical thing i can think of.

Then what would we call eachother?
Just "ey, you"?

I've noticed recently that a lot of people with certain names seem to have a big coincidence with their traits.
Like every girl I've known named Tabitha was fat, every girl I've known named Rachel was smart, every guy I know named Scott was goofy, every guy I've known named Preston was a trouble maker, etc.
mmm i think you make those connections. i thought that all katie's were popular and pretty and athletic because i met three that way... but then number 4 and 5 and all the rest... not so much. high school destroyed that idea i had, but yes, i used to think about that too.

damn there's a ton of girls on here lately
i love all female names, idk why.
i think my favorite is Izabella though.
lol no male anna. ... -.-" heh yes female. i think girl names are prettier too. i like elizabeth or isabella... and i actually really like names like takisha even though i guess the stereotype screams BLACK.... =S "black" girl's names are so pretty i cant help like them!

if people had to remember eachother by their faces, and communicate accordingly. dont you think we'd be much more closely united and intimate as a species?

Yeah the cycle is bound to be broken at some point, but as for now, those names have all been owned by the same type of people.

hmmm...idk.
trying to tell my skinny friend who's kinda funny looking about our mutual friend whose short and looks like he's balding a bit might not be so great.
I think I prefer Jim and Eric.
But maybe I'm just not visualizing it right

i dont think its about not having a name at all, it is about not placing as much value on the name as we do today. in most western societies the focus is on the individual (individual freedoms, individual's voices, etc) and our infatuation with names is a reflection of such a society. if you lived somewhere where your name was simply something commong that didn't mean too much, people could refer to you as such without you being so individualistic and proud of your name and all that other stuff. maybe. that's just a thought. and not a well thought out one at that
