Bought a 5lb bag of Espoma Organic Traditions Garden Gypsum.
Turns out it is Pellets.
I ground it down to powder.
Think it'll be alright.

Cool!! just started this hobby & garden centers aren't open yet around here, so I drive 30 - 50 miles to pick up what was left from last year.
Might have to buy a new blender & grinder as I have beat the crap out of the 2 doing my coarse verm and pellet gypsum. Also ground a few pounds of WBS & BR to make some cakes.
Thanx

They also just dissolve in water...You can put them in water, stir until the pellets break down and use this and add it to hydrate your coir....

The mushrooms, which grow only during the season of torrential rains, awaken the forces of creation and produce an experience of spiritual abundance, of an astonishing, inexhaustible constitution of forms that identifies them with fertility and makes them a mediation, a means of communion, of communication between man and the natural world of which they are the metaphysical flesh.

Never opened the bag untill I started soaking Rye, so I thru a few pellets into the rye to see what would happen. After PC'n the rye fell apart just fine, no clumps so I figured it would be okay. Just puttin in the grinder due to the fact that RR shows powder, Just a pinch or 1 TBLS.

i used to grind my gypsum pellets up as well, but RR advised me not to, and i haven't been doing it in my last 50 jars or so, and is working fine..

as well i left it pellet form when i mixed up my substrate to spawn to.

So does that mean it breaks down while in PC or while soaking.
I didn't stir while the Rye was soaking. I just tossed 7-10 pellets in the bowl.
Only did one qrt as I only had 1CC left & was afraid it was going to go bad if I didn't use it.
Plan using the qrt for G2G.

Thanx, I will assume that it breaks down while soaking. Don't think it would do a whole lot of good if all the pellets would happen to end up in one jar when I do multible jars in a few weeks.
