I've never tried this yet but they have a article about it on the PF homepage. It might help some. Stress might. I dont know if you know about the straw method for cakes so i'll explaine it anyways. Take a drill bit about the size of a drinking straw. Sterelize with alcohol. Drill a hole a little less then half way into the center of the cake. Place a drinking straw into the cake. Inject it with water. How much water and how often I dont know. I sent a letter to PF myself asking that question and he told me to experiment but be sure not to over water the cake. Hope that helps you out.

Dude, I totally want to help you with this! First of all, you are going to want to turn up the heat on these babies. I don't know what you got now, but I suggest low to mid 80's for fastest growth. Secondly, the cakes definitely need water to power up for the big flush. Perhaps set the cakes directly on wet perlite for a day or two, or make asmall ring around each cake with peat moss and then keep the moss damply wet. Also you will want to keep your terrarium nice and aired-out. Air it out every time you thing about it, just make sure you are somehat clean and maybe spray Lysol. Cold-shock the cakes for 1 night, 50 deg. then bring them back in to room temp's.
Air, them out twice daily.
And use NonFunc's Idea

You should have more than you need, real fast.

Do not use Lysol in your terrarium!
