Stan Grof is My Baby Daddy

Baby. Get it?
I ran across this excerpt in my research:
"The first matrix, which is formed at the stage of the fetus’s embryonic maturation, corresponds to the symbiotic unity of the fetus and the mother organism; the second, to the stage of contractions, when the fetus is compressed by the uterine walls; the third, to the fetus’s movement through the birth canal; and the fourth matrix is directly related to the moment when a human being sees the light of day and is formed when the fetus transfers from the aquatic environment to air."
So, does Stan Grof realize this exact metaphor can be used to explain the current metaphysical and global crises of humanity? In the sense that: first we had a symbiotic relationship with mommy (the natural world), experience contractions (sociological and global conflict), the movement through the birth canal (which is history, being transformed by technology), and the birth itself which is the eschatological end point, cosmological singularity, spiritual transformation, etc.
Does Grof also realize the same metaphor can be used to explain the structure of a psychedelic experience? The symbiosis to the sober Self is fractured, leading to contractions (insights; realizations; ideations; conflict), movement through the canal (archetypes; past memories), and birth (the descent from the peak to the after-glow).
Am I wrong in seeing parallels?

I can't speak for everyone, but the architectonics of the peak experience and the general progression from the floor, to the ceiling, and back to the floor, is fairly stable and predictable. So, it's interesting to read a lot of trip reports and observe terminology and references to the birth-dying-birth process and see tons of correlations to Grof's "pre-natal" jargon. There are also of course tons of parallels to mystic traditions, but psychology babble is an easier terrain to navigate for certain people.

I see the connection now but I want more, damn it. It's taking too long to see all of these parallels. What other esoteric code is hiding things from me?

And look at what I just read:
"Hofmann first synthesized LSD on November 16, 1938.[4] The main intention of the synthesis was to obtain a respiratory and circulatory stimulant (an analeptic) with no effects on the uterus."
Come to find out it has had a TREMENDOUS effect on our "uterus"

Grof is brilliant, and his work helped me to organize my own highly transpersonal experiences (along psychophysical, psychospiritual and psychocosmic lines [described in the book I'm working on]). I don't know about you, or how long you've been experiencing awe and wonder, but I've been living this adventure since 1971. Cop some patience.

Last night I had a dream where I hid a book in a cage under a bridge in a huge lake.
Suddenly, I was in a kitchen and saw Stan Grof descend from the stairs in his pajamas asking me to take him to the book.
Although it was night when I was indoors, once we went outside it turned to day. He wasn't mad or anything, just curious and assertive.
There was also a friendly black man in the distance who was preparing a boat. I somehow knew that he was about to go on a long voyage.
Vivid yet short dream.

Wrong? Who knows. Right? Who knows.
A singular point of light is a definite unknown for us. And IMO it may be more about the individual lifespan than about the world as a whole. Just repeats of the pattern over time. After all, we're still having contractions and always have as far as I can tell. The world has never been peaceful for very long in known history.
