youll have to add more verm, just add a little at a time till you have your desired moisture content

Run the verm thru a blender. If I put 2 cups in the blender there is not enough weight to push it down to the blades. 4 cups is a bit to heavy, so I run 3 cups at a time. Coarse Verm was all I could find at the time and used it like I bought it, but there were some big gaps in the jars so I blended it & it seems to be working fine even though you may get some fine grade coming out of the blender.

2 cups verm, 1 cup BRF & 1 cup water. Havent had a problem yet. It leaves about 1/4 pint sub left over though. Make 2 batches which would give you (11) 1/2 pints

The standard brf tek recipe won't work with course verm. Chop it up or get some fine verm. Course doesn't hold as much water and it sucks as a filter too because everything can get through. You need to give the course verm to a gardener and get a bag of fine grade. RR

ive never had pinning problems ,, if its not the verm ,, maybe fan it or check ur humidity ,give it more time if the cakes were fruited soon as they were 100 percent colonized, compared to giving them another week colonizing they can take a lil longer compared
