Serotonin Syndrome & Mushrooms?

Hi there guys, please excuse me if this is the wrong section to be posting in, I felt this was the best place to put it.
So in Australia it was a long weekend, and on Friday night a friend and I ingested 2 'ecstasy' pills. They were called white hearts and are apparently the best quality pills in rotation at the moment. They were OK I guess, but the following Saturday I just felt like absolute rat shit. To cut a long story short, it is now Monday and I am still not feeling 100%. This is what I have been through since Saturday morning:
- Feeling very very very lethargic, sleepy & tired. Going to bed early and waking up very late. - Waking up to a soaking wet bed on a freezing cold night due to sweating (every night) - Diarrhea on Saturday / Sunday (This is fine now.) - Mini seizure on Sunday morning soon as I woke up (this freaked me out!) - Twitching - High blood pressure, loss of appetite and increased body temperature.
I am not an avid drug user when it comes to lab made drugs, so am I experiencing a normal comedown of the pills, or do I indeed have serotonin syndrome ?
Another thing to mention is that I had been on clenbuterol the following weekdays (monday to thursday). Could this also be a factor as to why I am experiencing these nasty side effects ?
And now onto the main point.
This whole experience has completely turned me off any kind of drug that has been made in a lab, but I still love mushrooms and am super excited for the season to come. Although, my health is always going to be my priority so I am just wondering is it possible to get seretonin syndrome AGAIN from eating mushrooms ? Or any other nasty, life threatening side effects like what I was experiencing ?

I'm no doctor, but I'd bet it's the Clenbuterol.
I don't think you get serotonin syndrome from tryptamine-based psychedelics like mushrooms, LSD, and so on. Just with MDMA which floods the brain with serotonin.

No, nothing like that to worry about with psilocybin. It does act as an agonist to the serotonin pathways (5-HT2 specifically), but it does not dump your entire reserve of serotonin as MDMA does.
Also, not all ecstasy pills are good- in fact none of them are pure MDMA so this is another thing to consider (but I'm sure you knew what you were getting yourself into with pills). It could have been one of the mixers that got to you.

I think that what you need to do it talk to a real doctor and tell him what you have in your system. Everything, you should be honest, doctors won't arrest you for getting buzzed, but he/she needs to know what's up in order to diagnose correctly.
If you have serotonin syndrome, it's not a good thing.
It might be the other crap you're taking, or maybe it was the X, but get it looked at.
Can't make any further recommendations.

This. But don't just jump in the office and start confessing right away. Give it a week to get better; if it keeps getting worse then go in. 9 times out of 10 you will be fine in a couple days.

Does Serotonin Syndrome eventually go away if you do not touch drugs at all ? Is there anything I can do to improve my chances of getting all this shit out of my system ?
PS thanks for your responses so far.

It should pretty much go away after 24-48 hours but it may feel like a hangover for 2 days or so after. Drink water and eat bananas.

white hearts are a fairly common press, and depending on where you are located there could be from many different batches.
But I'll give you this warning. If you live in Australia, the chances of actually getting any MDMA in pressed pills right now is pretty slim. You find quality rolls in the right circles, but not very often in comparison to the old days, and hardly ever in any kind of large quantity.
Don't even waste your time unless you know that your friends or someone has previously eaten/tested them and know that they are quality. Probably around 90% of the market right now is either pipes or some other nasty shit!

^ Yeah I am very aware of the current situation of pills in Australia which is exactly why I have them on very very special occasions. But supposively this press was good quality MDA, but the end result just wasn't worth it.

your side effects list sounds like when my friends have gotten sick from pipes, but I can't tell you what was in your pills.
I won't even touch any of the pressed googs right now. If you can find MDxx capsules, give them a shot, but the rest is all garbage IMO. anybody who was around the scene in the early 2000's would know what I mean.

I'm pretty sure its the Clen, it causes higher blood pressure, more sweating, and tremors. I know multiple people who take it/have taken it.
My friend once told me that his girlfriend soaks the bed because of clen

I wouldn't worry. if you had serotonin syndrome it would've been while you had the MDMA/whatever in your system. X pills tend to use up your brains supplies of neurotransmitters so it tends to leave you feeling down for a couple days, at least in my experience.

I don't know much about serotonin syndrome, but wikipedia said that symptoms include hypervigilance and agitation. If you're feeling lethargic, this is a contradiction with these symptoms... but I'm no doctor, so don't take me too seriously.
I think there are two likely possibilities:
1) You got bunk pills that were full of either piperzines or mephedrone. Or even possibly that they did contain some kind of psychedelic amphetamines, but that the chemist didn't bother to purify it and put out a contaminated product.
2) Your other medication that you're on, clenbuterol, is causing these symptoms, possibly in interaction with the drugs you just took.
My advice: Get to a fucking doctor! These sound like pretty serious symptoms, and it could even be something totally unrelated to the drugs you've been taking. If you have any of these "white hearts" left over, maybe consider bringing them to the doctor so they can see exactly what was in them (if you can be sure that this won't get you in any trouble for possession). Also, maybe consider getting off the clenbuterol if you're just using it for weight loss. If you're using it for asthma, then maybe try to get on a safer medication.

This.
Serotonin syndrome happens when you have too much serotonin flooding your receptors. That would only have happened at the peak. For a few days after your roll, your serotonin will be below normal. There is absolutely no chance you have serotonin syndrome.
As for using mushrooms, they don't cause serotonin syndrome so there's nothing to worry about.
