It seems many people with views similar to ours are misanthropes. It seems strange that I am actually quite extroverted and naturally empathetic, I have just been able to suppress my empathy towards humans a lot through reason, however no matter how hard I try I can not get rid of my unnatural level of empathy felt towards animals of other species.

100 acres in the Maine mountains and a cabin built by my own hands. I would be self sufficient and promote life around me. I would be governed only by the laws of nature and the reason nature provides.

Well, I WAS gonna let you live in my envisioned utopia but now I'm having second thoughts...

Tis true. We are not born misanthropes but are made through experience and in my case at least an overriding sense of compassion for the suffering of mankind and having the realization that for every somewhat happy camper there are scores that are not.  Without a human race much suffering (not talking about pain here but neurotic suffering) if not all would be avoided.

I'm the guy wearing the white hat.

I have never induced any kind of mind altering substance in my life  and i have no intentions whatsoever of doing anything illegal.
If I have ever suggested such a thing it would have most likely been , due to my personality disorder and i probably do not remember it at all..
