Sickness on Mushrooms

Every time I take mushrooms, no matter how much I take, I always get veeery sick, and I always throw up a ton. Is there a reason for this, or is there any way that I can stop it? Because I love mushrooms, I just really hate the sickness from it.

yeah, tea with fresh ginger, which helps with the nausea. Or try, grinding them up to powder and taking them in capsule form.

I dont even get nasuea or stomach discomfort anyways, and I still just discovered I LOVE the tea method.

Did you grind them up?
Edit: Sorry, you can use boiling water. My memory was a little hazy on the boiling point of psilocybin, but it's much higher than the boiling point of water, so you're good.

I steep a ground up 8th in a tea bag with a bag of green tea, let it sit for like 30 minutes with a plate over the lid to keep in heat, then after the half hour I start to steep it in another mug of water for 30 minutes to make sure everything is out. I have a feeling this might be a bit of overkill, but I certainly dont want to waste anything.

I only dosed Shrooms once, but I do remember having a minor stomach ache feeling at times and I kept mood swinging. LSD > Shrooms any day of the week for me.

Drinking a couple beers for me helps. I don't normally drink beer and dose but the 2 times that I did, I didn't feel any nausea.

Yeah beer is also just nice for the pre-trip anxiety. Not too many, just a few to take the edge off

yeah that's definitely overkill. I toss in either ground up material, or whole dried mushrooms, and let them simmer in near-boiling water for about 10 minutes, or until all or most of the mushroom material sinks to the bottom. Then it's bottoms up!

Yeah I really should give them less time, I'm just paranoid. Would just 15 minutes be enough? Should I even bother doing the second cups worth? and should I agitate the mushroom matter? it's in it's own tea bag, and I usually press on it with the spoon a few times to press anything out if I can.
The last time I did tea I didnt feel anything tho, but I'm really starting to think it was just way less than I thought it was, and I was apprehensive so I ate before hand, and then did it in halves anyways. I dont know what I was thinking, but bleh..

In my experience 15 minutes is definitely long enough. I just stir the mushroom material around the simmering water until it sinks to the bottom of the pot. Then I strain out the mush and drink the mix. Works well for me!

So are you still boiling it or simmering it for the 15 minutes?
haha sorry... I use an electric kettle and then pour the water into a cup with a plate over it to keep heat in. Should I do it on the stove in a pot?

I put a pot on my stove, bring the water to a boil, then turn the flame down so it's not boiling but really hot. Then dump in your mush, and you could probably just walk away at this point since the water will move the mush around. If you want you can stir it around, and in about 15-20 minutes when all the material has started sinking to the bottom, just strain out the mushrooms using a coffee filter or something and drink the mixture. you don't need much water, especially if you grind your mushrooms first.
I've made tea in less than 1 cup of water with 3g ground up...15-20 mins tops
