i'd be scared to go to jail for murder and get ass fucked to death by a black guy
as far as stabbing someone, if i did they'd lose immediate blood pressure and be disabled very quickly and painfully, and probably need an ambulance, if you go for the throat the person can bleed to death in under a minute. if you go for the wrist they can bleed to death in under 2 minutes. if you go for the leg and know the right spot they can bleed to death in under a minute and thirty seconds
but honestly i don't want to go to jail over some idiot

Get that; less than 10 bucks (before shipping). Try to find one without serrations.
If you're afraid of someone taking your knife from you your best option would be to not own a knife for self defense and rather to get some pepper spray or just immediately run. This isn't in any way cowardly or inappropriate.
If you have to wind up stabbing someone you should hope you don't do it in front of a cop or a video recorder. If you're clear, then just run.
It's always best to avoid conflict in all situations but sometimes there's someone that just wants it and won't let you save them from themselves.
I would caution you against stabbing anyone here in the U.S. Laws can be really lopsided and you'd be a lot better off running someone over with your car and killing them than stabbing them in a crowded place. You could get many years for a stabbing, even if it was in "self-defense". Many states have different laws that require you to flee from an attacker or to go get police instead of defending yourself.
Then again, this is a website whose subject matter is only semi-legal.

believe it or not, i'm not talking shit, i've seen someone survive mace AND a taser, in one fight.
not a lot of times in my life i've seen this, but it's true. and tasers are supposed to be sure thing. i saw my friend get maced(peppered) and THEN tasered, and then he got back up(he fell down after the taser) rubbed his eyes(they were burning his face was red) and then proceeded to beat the shit out of this kid the way no one ever had. the kid fell after not TOOOOO many punches(but quite a few good ones) right on his ass.
i normally don't think beating the crap out of someone like that is justified, but this guy tried my friend AND me, and if he had knocked my friend down, he was going to come at ME with the same pepper spray/taser/whatever else. he was some dumb ass who wanted to start some shit, and he got what he deserved. if he had been a real thug, i'm sure me and my friend would be just about dead by now. oh well

If your lookin for a fully auto spring loaded OTF double sided blade, your gonna be looking at spending a pretty decent chunk of money tbh. And for the price of some of these blades you could buy an easily concealable pistol and get a CCW (which is pretty easy in the state you live, not sure about the city) so you dont have to worry about the law and so you dont have to rely on physical strength in a fight for your life...but if your set on a blade and have the cash, thesell get you started

you hang out with people that carry guns?
i'd imagine someone like you who was into cute things knew a little better.. anyway you should try and hang with better people that want to move to a better neighborhood

Truth
I know a dude that got in a fight with a guy, got stabbed 17 times in his body, leg, and head and he didnt slow down once. It wasnt until after the fight was over and his adrenaline wore out that he started feeling the pain and notice what had happened...you wanna put someone down? Get a .40 or .45

Touche. But someone who's gonna kick your ass through several stab wounds ... it doesn't matter. They'll kick your ass through mace, through a stun gun, through punches, whatever. There are cases in which adrenaline > all.

im not sure i should do this, i can see everyone here thinks they are self defense experts... but a knife + someone who is willing to take the time to use it REASONABLY WELL (not someone who is gonna get a black belt in a weapons system that uses knifes etc) is a GOOD combination for self defense....
ANYONE who pulls a weapon and does not know how to use it against someone who genuinely wants to hurt them and has any knowledge of how to do so has just made a GRAVE mistake in pissing off their assailant and possibly has even just provided them with a weapon to be taken and used.
and mace doesnt do shit.... i have been maced... i dont need to see a 120 pound (or whatever) girl to totally annihilate her, so whats the point it making me mad by temporarily slightly disorienting me?
tasers have some legitimacy, but i prefer the tried and true blade or gun - of which i carry both...
the moral of the story - if ur not gonna learn to use it right, i dont care what u have cause im prolly just gonna end up beating u half to death with it....

YES YES exactly, but full auto.. you got it
i found this one i really like but its $119

and this one retracts and pushes out like i wanted before, but its ugly

if anything i would go with the one in the 1st pic. i think shes a beauty. to bad dont make it in p!nk they had these ones

on a site someone just recomended for only $19.99 but i want quality is this the sort of thing that the more u pay the better it is? or are they all just cheap anyway and those are just overpriced. becus i have heard ppl complain about stilettos being cheap, unreliable and the spring breaks real easy

80 dollars is around the least ur gonna spend on a proper knife of the style u want.. any less and ur gonna have a glorified tooth pick that wont hold a proper edge and will probably break off after a good attack or 2
