China supporting Iran in developing nuclear weapons. Possible?
    #14111526 - 03/12/11 09:24 PM (13 years, 2 months ago)

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2011-03-10/u-s-concerned-chinese-companies-may-be-aiding-iran-nuclear-weapon-effort.html

What do you think the implications of this are?

I see a potential for a WW3 with this one, though it could be BS.

I guesse its difficult to know who you can trust for news.

However, china does have great relations with Iran.

Particularly for light sweet crud.

Thoughts?

I doubt Iran would use a nuke to start a war that would destroy their whole country.

Me too.

Although there is evidence that Iran might hand it off to a terrorist group.

I mean Iran is the major financial backer to hezbollah in lebanon. Ahmahjenidad has been pictured with hezbollah and it is likely that iran has provided financial assistance to hezbollah.

Not only that but radicalists in the country could steal the bomb and utilize it.

However, it is more likely that they may hand off the bomb to a teorrist group.

At this point its difficult to say whether I would trust ahmajenidad.

His beliefs about the mahdi are the main reason.

George Galloway?

Here's Darrel Issa

WASHINGTON. D.C. – U.S. Representative Darrell Issa (R-CA) today released the following statement on the situation in Lebanon:

“It’s deeply concerning that forces who oppose a UN-led effort to expose the truth about the assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri would risk the welfare of the entire country by forcing the collapse of the Lebanese government. As I have said before, Hezbollah is a cancer on Lebanon that must be addressed

honestly, who cares if iran gets nukes? i could give two shits. if you notice, countries with sizable supplies of nuclear products have more say on the global scale. by oppressing iran's ability to create nuclear weapons, we weaken their political status and standing. overall, i think that's completely fascist. if they want to arm themselves with nuclear weapons, so be it. this kinda reminds of a sandbox full of children. a small group of kids have all the cool toys, while the other poorer kids are left to play with sand. justice?
