Burning Man *Upadate*(Now With Pictures)

I have heard a lot of talk about Burning Man on this forum lately and a few people are a little nervous, so I wanted to make a little thread to reassure you all of the love filled ecstasy that is Burning Man.

I went to Burning Man for the first time last year, I had read a lot about it but wasn't exactly sure what to expect. When I arrived, my mind was blown.
Burning Man is a beautiful place with infinite experiences to offer you and the 60,000 most kind souls you'll ever meet.
Burning Man is like a week long trip, I love tripping, but if I had the choice to go to Burning Man sober or have a week long tripping fest at home, I would choose Burning Man. Of course, Burning Man and tripping/toking go great together.
That week was the healthiest and happiest week of my life and I am definitely going back.
If anyone has any questions you can me or post them in this thread and I will do my best to get back to you ASAP.
Burning Man is a radical act of self-reliance and self-dissolution into the oneness of the communal love and ecstasy of the black rock desert.

A few basic tips: Bring lots of water- 2 gallons a day per person, plus any water you want for hygeine purposes. Bring food, I over packed on food and gave a lot away. You can buy food and water in Reno before heading out to BRC. No money is allowed at burning man, except for at the Center Camp Cafe or Ice Station, where the profits all go toward Burning Man. Bring hats, goggle, and sunglasses. Bring a journal, to write down the beautiful moments you want to remember and share, and also a camera. Yellow bikes, which are actually green, are found there and are for anyone to use. You have to wear pants on them though, so if you want to ride a bike nude bring your own. Your rent a car will get very dirty, prepare to have to pay a little extra.

Gifting- Gifting is a very integral part of Burning Man, it really shows the unconditional love toward all there. Gifts don't have to be something you can touch, but they can be. Gifts don't have to be planned, but they can be. Be prepared to give and receive love and other beautiful things.

I can't wait
Especially with how shitty things have been lately. I could use 60,000 of the kindest people right about now

Awesome! I am so happy for you!
 I'll be there too!
The first few weeks after Burning Man it will seem very, very weird to see clothed, rude, and close minded people.

After going once, you have no choice but to come back. Burning Man becomes your true home.

No, if your like me, you just need to sacrifice a small portion of your gettin high funds - though cost of gas once it comes time might be a different story, but Ill make it out there either way

yeah haha i have about $600 in the bank right now and I get paid $5.25 an hour + tips. I am in no way rich but I'll be there. One agonizing shift at a time. And its very likely that the shift before I leave for burning man will go something like this
But really I wont do that. I'm too nice . Even though my managers are assholes.
