Am I contaminated?

This is my first try at growing some cubenis. Tried one of the bag kits. Started on January 26th, the rye bag went great after about 3 weeks it was fully white with obvious mycelium. After that it went into the compost bag and looked great for about two weeks. However now I think something is wrong, it hasn't been making any progress in over a week now and I expected to see pin heads by now. I'm thinking my compost is now just covered in mold. What are your thoughts?

no alerts of spyware here and I've even used imageshack for years, it's likely that your computer is infected with some kind of malware

lol imageshack is a reputable site. Thanks for flagging my post so I probably don't receive any useful response. Would be kind if you removed that. Just looking for some experience here.

I used to create worms and viruses, along with the strategies to distribute them. Half the time I don't even have to click on something and I know what the result will be, although I clicked this one. My computer is clean, you should check yours (OP and Prisoner#1)....Anti-virus programs are useless by the way in the long run.....Imageshack is notorious for spyware...

No mist, the kit came with a bag of compost with a 'filter' patch on it. The directions said to seal the bag and not mess with it until they are done. I felt it was TOO moist, perhaps my air circulation wasn't enough? The bag was in an indoor garden space that stays 75-80 and grows great plants so I figured the fungus would do well too.
A few days ago I removed the compost from the 'bag' and put it into a grow chamber I made (rubbermaid.) I was hoping this would provide more airflow. Still plenty moist inside, condensation on the lid all the time.

No worries, sorry I might have been short at first. I've just used imageshack for a long time and been in a lot of forums that recommend it specifically and never heard of anyone having problems. Cheers

I personally don't see anything wrong in that pic you posted....Looks OK to me. Sorry for the thread hijack BTW. Lose imageshack though, especially if you are using internet explorer which is full of holes for spyware and adware.....Post pics straight to this site....

I'm hoping for the best and don't want to give it up yet, although supposedly if you have a problem they will give me a new kit. I'll give it a couple more weeks unless someone tells me it's mold for sure. Would some closer pics help? That was my cellphone but I'm charging my camera.

Looks fine, Top left area (the white bumps) is what a FOAF sees on his casings 3-4 days before they pin.

Don't give up on that it looks good. I think you will have some pins soon.....Does the bag get any fresh air? Light?

I ditched the bag and put the compost into the rubbermaid it's pictured in. Small holes are drilled in the lid. It's kept on the middle shelf of a cart, there is some florescent lights 4-5 feet away, nothing shining directly onto the chamber. Also I have a fan blowing air in it's direction now. :-) Thanks for the advise guys!

Ok, lose the fan #1. The flourescent lights should be within a couple inches of the chamber, assuming they are the regular tube lights or CFL screw ins. Flourescent lighting degrades exponentially the further you move it away.....You want the light getting right into the box, real close. Your problem is probably humidity. With that substrate you have, you probably want to build a shotgun fruiting chamber. Go to mushroomvideos.com and watch the last few parts of the PF tek videos. You can use that box you have....I forget which video describes how to build the grow chamber.....
EDIT: you want the light on for 12 hours and you want darkness for 12 hours....

Okay hmm, how bad would 24 hour light be? That's what they are getting. I can put them in a 12/12 room but they might see 60 degree night temps, would this be okay?

60 might be a bit low but it shouldn't hurt anything, just slow some growth....Mushrooms actually do most of their growing at night. So many times I went to bed just to wake up in the morning and say "Holy Shit" when I put on the lights....

mushrooms grow at 60-65 degree temps just fine...tad bit slower but they grow, and in my opinion more potent then grown in warmer temps...as well meater denser fruits.

Okay well good and bad news. It looks like I was lacking darkness because after 12 hours of dark the compost pinned ALL over!! There must be 50 pins already.
However here is the bad news. On the bottom of the compost I found 3 green moldy spots. I removed them and the surrounding area right away. Am I screwed? I really don't want to have come this far to have to drop the whole thing.
Is there anything I can do? Remove the bottom 1/3 of the compost? Should I wash out my container??
Pics of some pins:
