Maybe. You'll have to mist it.

you'd get like 2g out of it. It's really small.

For conversation sake - instead of paying 10 bucks for a decent tub to last you forever since most bulks will supply enough moisture that perlite isn't even needed - I'd say you'll def. get more than 2 grams out of it brotherman. I usually fruit brf cakes in a 2 liter bottle for grins and giggles if I'm bored and want a change from rye/bulk and I easily get a 1/4 quarter dry in a week - easy.
For bulk I'd up it to a gallon jug (cut in half right under the handle) which will hold more substrate and be just as cheap. For more nutritional bang for your buck use brf cakes (although rye would be fine as well) as spawn to the manure...I wouldn't use straw because it would take much more subtrate to support than the jug or bottles would hold. If you wish to colonize the manure in the jug as well - just put it back together and wait to drill your 2 inch holds till after full colonization. 2 1/8" holes would be fine for gas exchange until then.
Just dunk it and pull the lid off 3 times a day to fan when you mist. A little crumpled wax paper wouldn't hurt either to keep the humidity up to stimulate and support pinning.
You'll get way more than 2 g dry. In fact, I'd venture to say that you could get a half oz dry first flush from just one jug. I've done many small bulk grows with about the same amount of substrate (maybe less!) with those dry amounts. Have Fun!

go for it. novelty grows can be fun. i would make the sub as nutritious as you can. but as said above, brf cakes will fruit in a 2-liter, so y not bulk?
