Let me guess: they wanted to lock me in the lodge until the cynicism was burned out of me.

You know what they say about the size of a man's shoes...

Haters?
Who was the concerned citizen on this forum who warned people about James Ray 2 days before he was responsible for the death of several seminar participants?
How many M&Pers rushed to Ray's defense after the deaths because they were scared to have their core beliefs challenged?

I can only speak from my perspective on the M&P forum and from that perspective the bashing is hatin'. The M&P forum is more than specific behaviors. To generalize the forum like often occurs as part of an ongoing joke can be pretty distasteful to me.
What is generalized about the forum does happen. But it isn't a problem specific only to some. We all do that kind of crap at some point in our lives and that forum somehow becomes a scapegoat for our human tendencies
But it doesn't really matter. Forum bashing isn't against the rules. Even if it is mass flaming

Did you know that years ago, I guided two delusional M&P type members away from near-certain suicide thru PM and phone calls? Guess that makes me a real hater.

I didn't know that. And I'm only talking about the forum bashing as hatin', not your PMs to members. It's really not that serious to me, but in the ps&p forum I try to defend my claims if I make 'em.

Seeing as how I got a lifetime M&P ban for a non-rule infraction and not one M&P member stood up in protest, what does that tell you about the character of the general populace over there?

these people paid cash to try out some outlandish experiences and died from the experience. in days of old people did these experiences out of curiosity or to see who would survive. the survivor being the true consciousness, the dead being fakes. I think paying is no worse than gambling. I don't know Rasputin paid to learn any tricks. But these opportunities may as well continue, only people going into them should be going in for the truly shallow reason of proving themselves, not paying for some shit transcendence that can't be paid for. this old thread is cool, should have a new look at it. the buyers should be aware. these kind of things are dangerous and not necessarily useful, but they certainly can prove manhood.
