Definitely worth watching.
Just came back. Its action packed, cool effects and overall pretty good (IMO).
You got nothing to do? Go watch it!

Its actually an extremely terrible film IMO. The dialogue is absolutely awful and any of us could have written it better. Any parts that could be considered "good" were all literally in the trailer for the movie. I guess if you're fucked out of your mind and don't care about decent dialogue or any sort of originality you may enjoy it.
Spend your money on Kill The Irishman instead.

35% on RT: Overlong and overly burdened with war movie clichés, Battle: Los Angeles will entertain only the most ardent action junkies.
Think I will pass, I've seen "this movie" a few to many times already.

Nah man, there are action movies that have good writing, look at a movie like Aliens to see what I mean. Battle-LA is just a b-movie with a gigantic budget if that makes any sense.

"When I think of the elegant construction of something like "Gunfight at the OK Corral," I want to rend the hair from my head and weep bitter tears of despair. Generations of filmmakers devoted their lives to perfecting techniques that a director like Jonathan Liebesman is either ignorant of, or indifferent to. Yet he is given millions of dollars to produce this assault on the attention span of a generation.
Young men: If you attend this crap with friends who admire it, tactfully inform them they are idiots. Young women: If your date likes this movie, tell him you've been thinking it over, and you think you should consider spending some time apart. "
damn son... He tore into that movie.
