Guy should have wrote Paradise Lost 2 instead. He borrows most of his adjectives and powerful nouns from Milton.

I wish I could post what I feel like saying. But believe me, I'd probably get banned if I did. Suffice to say the drug war isn't a joke- It's tyranny. This is the "light" version...
It was BLOODSHED, not reason or peaceful protesting, that ended prohibition of alcohol. They ignore the reason of scientific research, they ignore social arguments for reform, the drug war and prison system is designed to weed out and nullify artistic, creative, and dissenting individuals to perpetuate and cause harm to society all to justify the infringement on civil liberties for the expansion and consolidation of power.
They ignore and arrest peaceful protesters. If the soapbox and ballet box don't work, the last one we are left with is the AMMO box, that is to physically fight back! Thomas Jefferson once said: "From time to time the tree of liberty must be watered with the blood of tyrants". To say one cannot fight because one is outgunned, ignored, and out financed is a cop-out. The way to fight the drug war soldiers in physical COMBAT is very simple if one is willing to DIE for what they believe in! Look what they do in Iraq, they don't expect to "win" nor do they care, all that matters is inflicting constant damage. Maybe a few drug busts ending with the death of the entire swat team would send a strong message that it's time for change.
-------------------- "Love one another." "To Love is to know me." "Love is the Law, Love under Will." "In Compassion, all sorrows end." Regardless of the Master, the message is the same- Choose love and you shall live, Choose Fear and you shall die. Help bring peace to this Earth: Love one another, and serve others before yourself.

The superficiality promoted by TV and ENTERTAINMENT made society as a whole less concentrated on what could be into what's on tv. simple tool of subservient control, which also allows them to manipulate history by controlling images, sounds... the perception of information through private media controls the US population on an inconceivable scale. they bare an incredible amount of political power. the monopolized new and made an agenda of what's profitable to inform to the public, disregarding vitally important truths in this country.

If there was ever an organized revolution against the corruption in this country I would join in a heartbeat. It's sickening what the people in power do, and who really controls the motives/agenda.
That being said, if I were to wipe out a swat team when they tried to bust me, I would just be used as another piece of propaganda. Imagine the headlines: "Marijuana drives man to mass murder of civil servants". Or some crazy variation of that. The mainstream media is on the same page as our crappy government.
It's even worse because there aren't any people in government (I know of!) who really know the full extent that they are fucking people. It's more like a cumulative evil thing.
I am deeply annoyed by the author's hatred of the wealthy however. I come from a (somewhat) wealthy background and I'm as much of a dissenter of the entire system as the rest of you. Don't use government corruption as a platform issue to support leftism. That makes the author as bad as the people in power.

The media is this country is to be despised. People totally accept the crap as real news, too. People forget what real news was ever like. I'm too young to know if we ever even had it. Where would I be without BBC world news and AlJazeera(sp?)? Both have next to no bias, and talk about important stuff.
