6 month or more old colonized jar - still good?
    #14103227 - 03/11/11 10:14 AM (13 years, 10 months ago)

I have a jar that I found the other day that's fully colonized and I guess I lost it for a while, It's got to be at least 6 months old.

I have no idea what strain it is, but its been fully colonized for months and looks like a solid white, shriveled mass of mycellium in a shallow puddle of orange myc piss.

Think I can still get some good out of it? perhaps fruit it as is or even better do a G2G transfer with it? would I have to rehydrate it?

I'm thinking a g2g transfer wont work cause even tho I haven't touched it yet it looks pretty solid and I don't think it'll break easily. What do you think?

Actually nevermind, I just opened it and smelled it. Smells like cat piss, and the part that was sitting in the puddle looks dark n mushy. Even if I was able to revive it I don't think anyone would want its fruits.

It would probably be fine if it wasn't sitting in a puddle of its own waste for the last few months.

EDIT: I broke up the mass to get it out so I could reuse the jar and its black on the inside :uhoh:
