Sure, the moon will look awesome if you're frying, whether its a "supermoon" or not.
Will it looks better than a normal full moon. Sure, it'll be closer, but will that distance make a noticeable difference in how it looks from Earth?

Sure. Probably won't look terribly different from last month.
But if you, say, look at the moon when it's closest vs. when it's furthest, there is a difference.

YES! I saw one of those when I was like 8, and since then, I've never been really impressed by moon events. They never lived up to that moon.
It was right on the horizon like that, and was HUGE. Like 20 times the normal moon size. It was even red like that. I think it was redder though.
So that's a picture of a supermoon?

I don't doubt it. I've only seen the moon- not quite that big - but much larger than I'm used to a couple times when I was on a ship fairly close to the equator... its breathtaking - it was also slightly orangeish as well.

it rises red for several days during it's cycle(if not everyday)
spend a few months in the woods and watch it everyday
it's not a rare occurrence

Just imagine if you were at the very top of the world where it would be night time for an entire month. That shit is so crazy. You go to sleep at night. And then wake up to go to work, and its still night. Then you go eat lunch at noon, and its still night

Awee, that sucks. Does anyone know what I saw? It was in South Africa. It was HUGE, like lieterally 20 times the size of the normal moon. I've seen the moon being twice the size once or twice, but never that big. Will I ever be able to see something like that in Florida?
