Id say the entire states of Georgia, Florida, as well as various regions of the PNW are all good nominees for the US Shroom Capital.

I think I heard on the North FL Shroom guide that Gainesville is shroom capital of the world. Now, if this is true I am unsure, but I know Gville is full of shrooms.

The Pacific Northwest has always been the mushroom capital of the world.
besides having 18 varieties of magic mushrooms we also have another 4000 plus speices which include edibles and posonous and shrooms with nothing at all.
Years ago Gainesville was listed as the shroom capital of theworld for its many fields of P. cubensis. But that is only one species.
The PNW is the shroom capital of the world and most mycologists will agree with that./

Again, Florida has about 6 species and the PNW has liberty caps, blue ringers, Wavy Caps, elves stools, we have 18 variueties of shrooms and many species grow with anywahere up to 50 pounds and some people have found patches with more than a hundred thousand shgrooms in them here. You do not get that walking in a pasture.
Liberyty caps you can pick 2 to 6 pounds easily in every fierld. They do not grow from manure but fromthe manured soil.
The blue ringers grow all year lonbg sometimes and they can have twenty piounds or more on a msmall lawn at a Mac Donalds.
The pelliculosas grow buy the hundreds of thousands in a clearcut.
And the P. cyanescens and p. azurescens can have form 1 pound in a patch to hundreds if yo know where you are looking.

ANd no one here in the PNW rarely gets arrested picking on a lwawn or a public [park in the cities here inthe pnw. Copps do not considered them a problem and have larger prioritiies like pot and crack tro worry about and heroin.
They do not hassle shroom pickers becasue we are the shroom capital and that is becasue of the edibles .

I think Quebec is one of the best place in the world for a shroomer. Because of heavy change in temperature during the night and almost always follow by rain. I think that generation and generation of shrooms have birft there creating a kind of temperature resistance witch make them massive

18 species of magic mushrooms and more than 5000 other speices growing int he puget sound. Hundreds of edibles. Thousands of shrooms which are not edibles.
But we have more speicies than annywhere else int he world.
