Broke through for the first time on DMT today. I had smoked it about three times before and had pleasant but mild experiences.
It was really smooth, and felt amazing. It was really an overload of information like my psyche unwinding all this deeply embedded stress, with crazy entities healing me with their energy at the same time.

I'm probably gonna try breaking through a few more times over the next few days. :strokebeard:

At first sight, The Perfection of Wisdom is bewildering, full of paradox and apparent irrationality.

what was your magic dose? I personally think I used too much because I saw nothing. just blackness... but right before I closed my eyes, my visual world turned extremely overwhelming! and after I closed my eyes... I had little recollection of what came after!

:psychsplit: I'm very happy to hear this my friend. Overload of information sounds just about right. A few of my DMT breakthrough experiences have involved entities surrounding me and saying "He is ready" all cryptically then the next time I was 'receiving and integrating the universal data download'. All I know is that I have been a much different person since then.

I've been seeing alot of people trying DMT for their first times this year. 2011 = consciousness acceleration :strokebeard:

no entities, no visions behind my closed eyes... it was just.... complete ego-loss. It was by far one of the most powerful expereinces of my life though!

there has been few DMT phases before this too... about 3 years ago, EVERYONE on the shroomery was talking about trying DMT. and even further back(guessing 5-6 years ago), many fellow vets got into it... but I noticed that the further we progress... there is a higher volume of people each time.

Would you believe that DMT literally landed in my lap from absolutely nowhere the instant this year started?

The last time I did it was a medium dose and it felt like I was playing a tug of war with these so called entities!!! I would free my mind, and sense that something was was watching over me to try and contact me. but as soon as I consciously became aware of it, it would pull away!!! then I would go back into a nirvana like state, and again this "entity" peaked in, I again tried to become more conscious of it and it disappeared. This happened a total of 3-4 times... but it felt like a playful tug of war:grin:

Man I like the ambiance of those tunes... but I just HATE saxophone, no idea why. I really can't stand it.

So I can't listen to jazz. :frown:

You mean the Bohren Und Der Club of Gore songs I posted? I really just love how the saxophone and the dark ambience mesh together to create such a dark atmosphere, a very noir soundscape.

Though if it is the saxophone which shied you away then fret not, before they included saxophone they had guitar and one more album after Black Earth had only guitar on it as well.

- Gore Motel; still downtempo doomy ambience, but with a melancholic guitar lead)

- Geisterfaust; IIRC it was 5 lengthier songs, all with a more ethereal atmosphere and also lead by equally dreamy guitars

Piss off.  That is all.

To make this post at least constructive.. I'd wager you've only heard shitty sax solos in pop songs, in which case, I'm not sure I'd completely blame you.  That'd be like judging guitar based on some 17 year old kid you heard play at a Battle of the Bands though.
